"The front desk staff were helpful and gave me bottled water. Speedy check in and key drop off option for check out. The blanket over the bed sheet was very thin, especially for winter, so I picked up heavier blankets from the office. The room had a smell but it didn’t bother me about a few minutes. Best thing about this hotel is its proximity to San Buenaventura State beach. The sunset was simply stunning!"

"The location of the hotel is OK, close to the pier and convenient to Channel Islands National Park. The room size is OK, but the lighting on the ground floor is poor. The most intolerable thing is the poor WIFI in the hotel. It was difficult to connect after staying there for 2 days. It was not even as good as the public free WiFi at the door and the general motel. It is really hard to be satisfied and understand. The reception at the front desk was also quite poor, and the level and orientation of the room requested upon check-in were not met. Bad review."
