"We stayed at Pensione Sorriso for two nights and were truly satisfied with our experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The location is excellent just a short walk from the train station. If you're traveling with large or multiple suitcases, or if you have difficulty with stairs, this is one of the best places to stay. The breakfast was delicious with a good selection, and the overall atmosphere was warm and comfortable. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend Pensione Sorriso to anyone visiting vernazza or planning to explore the Cinque Terre."

"I was actually there about 4 years ago. We LOVED this place. Views are AMAZING and we had unit "Sophia" I believe. It had a rooftop terrace. Rooms are not huge, but they have amazing stone work inside (owner is town stone mason). You have to walk up about 50 stairs that are wide and spaced far apart so it's doable. The view is definitely worth it. At the bottom of the stairs is the train station and the rest of the town is within 1500 feet. I hope to return here soon with family. LOVED our visit. Great host. You can store food in common fridge right outside our "cabin." We had wine and cheese on our rooftop. It's a great value for the price."

"Perfect location: very close to train station but not noisy. Easy walk to the water. Staff: very approachable and helpful. Room: Kitchen very functional. We chose the first floor as there are a lot of stairs. Bed was comfortable. The washroom was spacious, however there appeared to be mold-like substance on the wall near the toilet. Provided: Coupon for breakfast (€14) was delicious. Also was provided with cookies, croissants, jam, tea and coffee in the room. For those that are lactose intolerant or vegan the first shop on the right south of the train station has vegan pesto."
