"In need of urgent maintenance, it is a beautiful place but the conditions leave a lot to be desired. There are a lot of things missing... more varied food, breakfast is very poor, there are no basic necessities such as a simple Band-Aid, there is no shampoo, There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms and what is available at the reception is very weak and you always have to ask to connect...etc etc. I really needed someone capable of driving The lady is very helpful but that's all there is to it There is a lot to to do"

"asDunas Lodge was our final stop on our Honeymoon and what a place to end our incredible trip. This place is really special, creating an intimate culture for couples while simultaneously creating a space for people from all over the world to connect with each other and each and every staff member. Starting with the friendly and complimentary airport pick up, we were welcomed with a refreshing cocktail and lunch, with the most incredible view across the ocean. Our lodge room was beautifully appointed, and with your own private terrace and pool, it really does feel like your own piece of paradise for however long you choose to stay for. We stayed for 7 nights and wanted to stay for much longer, this place really gets under your skin. The food was simply stunning - each night you're treated to a 5 course tasting menu filled with Mediterranean and local flavours, incredibly clever touches by the local head chef, the most attentive service and a wonderful wine selection. the homemade pasta courses were a particular highlight for us! The lodge managers also organised two day long boat trips for us, to visit the Islands and go snorkelling on the reefs. This was slick and the local operators really make the days worth it. Finally, the staff - to each and every person working there, thank you so much. Your kindness, friendly and warm demeanour and desire to connect with every guest was truly special and we feel so lucky to have met them all. We can feel a return visit for an anniversary being on the cards in the future."

"Vilanculos Beach Lodge was absolutely gorgeous, with stunning views overlooking the beach. It was the perfect place to sit out on the veranda watch the sunrise each morning, and we loved sitting outside with a coffee while watching the fishermen bring in their catch. The location couldn't have been better – right on the beachfront, making it incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Everyone we met at Beach Lodge was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The service was exceptional from start to finish. A special thank you to Sipho, Emilio, Jerry, Paulo, Hamilton, and Bella, who all went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The food was outstanding every single day. I would especially recommend the seafood platter and the rissois – they were so delicious we couldn't get enough of them! This was the perfect way to end our holiday, and we would happily return. Highly recommended!"

"My partner and I went to Casa Babi for a week in September. We wanted a relaxing holiday away from Zambia, but also a place we could enjoy some activities we love. Casa Babi was the perfect place for us. The food was amazing, the tiny details from the cheese and bread at breakfast, to the options for starters, mains and deserts at dinner. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, could always give us the best recommendations on what to do. The view from Casa Babi was amazing, situated right on the beach you can wake up to the sunrise on the ocean. The amenities in the room were also amazing, from the coconut oil to the shampoo and conditioner. Casa Babi is very central, so my partner and I could go to lunch at other lodges if we wanted something different. He was able to fish for the day and I was able to horse ride without any issues. Casa Babi is right next to the dive shop Odyssea, which was very convenient to walk to early in the morning before my dive There are dogs at this lodge, they are very friendly and go about their day in the sun enjoying the view. Brownie is adorable and playful. Thank you for hosting us, we will be back!"
