Suigekka ★★★
"good view and service"
Matsuoka ★★
"The landlady and her partner were incredibly welcoming, making guests feel right at home. The dinner they prepared was absolutely sumptuous. My mom and I had a private room, and the landlady even helped us turn our slippers inside out so we could wear them right away. They kept bringing out more food, including fish soup, just in case we weren't full. The dinner alone was worth more than the room rate! Breakfast was also plentiful and delicious, with fresh sashimi sets, dried seafood, and huge whelks – all excellent value. The place is right across from the sea, and you can take a walk near the fishing harbor where many people go fishing. I'd definitely come back to visit them again sometime!"
Kojokan Pamco ★★★
"The food was delicious! My family loves fish dishes. The location is great, right on the lake and close to the boat dock. It's a shame there's no bidet."
Ebisuya ★★
Wakasa Mikata Seafood Restaurant Seifuso (Fukui) ★★
Fujinoya ★★★
"We ate our fill of Wakasa pufferfish. Starting with blanched pufferfish, then sashimi, fried pufferfish, salt-grilled pufferfish, pufferfish hot pot, and rice porridge... We indulged in such luxury for 13,000 yen per person for one night with two meals. We ordered a boat-shaped platter of sea bream, which added 2,000 yen to the price. We were so full from the pufferfish alone that we felt the boat-shaped platter was unnecessary. The sea bream was also exquisite. It was fresh, and the fish's eyes were so clear they looked alive. The homemade daikon radish garnish was also juicy, and we ate it all. All guest rooms have a sink and toilet. We don't like shared toilets, so this was a minimum requirement for us. There is no refrigerator. It seems you can use the inn's refrigerator if you ask. There is no safe, bath towels, or snacks to accompany the tea. Knowing this in advance is not a problem. There is an elevator in the building. The bath is a little small, but there is space for three people to wash, and there is also a jacuzzi. The innkeeper was a very friendly person. I would like to go again."
Sanza Kumagawa ★★★
Syowakan ★★★
"The rooms here are very clean and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast provided are both plentiful and clearly prepared with care. The bathhouse is also kept clean, making it a safe and enjoyable place."
Wakasaji No Yado Yamaya ★★★
