We had a wonderful two day stay. There weren’t many guests around on the dates we stayed, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The hotel offered a shuttle golf buggy to the beach and nearby places which was a bonus. It rained heavily while we at the beach so staff picked us up in a car. I have already recommended the hotel to a friend! Staff: Friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast: Fresh and healthy, served in the outside coffee/bar summer house. Afternoon Tea: Tasty fruit, fresh juice, local biscuits. Hotel surroundings: The garden is planted thoughtfully and kept tidy. It was nice to have the open covered seating area to rest and read a book. The furniture is good quality and comfy. Swimming pool is a nice size and clean apart from some surface bugs. (it’s not easy to keep all flies/insects out off the pool in a hot place) Dog friendly hotel, the owner’s puppy was super cute! Room: Super view over the mountains. Large balcony. Furniture, towels, toiletries and bedding all high quality. Decor tasteful and modern. Everything felt reasonably new and in good repair. Surrounding area: Quiet village, plenty of places to eat or get coffee. Only cons: Coffee is not included as standard with the breakfast. When it rains the cushions on the balcony’s outside furniture oget wet so you can’t sit on them for some time. I personally didn’t like that you could see into the ground floor rooms from the outside seating and sunbathing areas.

The location of the store is very close to the expressway. It is also very close to Shenzhou Station. There is a parking space at the door. I personally think it is not too far from two internet celebrity ranches. The staff in the store are very friendly and they help charge the car and provide valet parking. Dog friendly. I have also worked in a B&B, so I know that the boss is very considerate and the disposable supplies are of good quality. Thick-soled disposable slippers and toothbrushes with boxes are a bit more expensive. There was a small problem during the whole-house smart booking process. The lady boss was very positive. The solution is very suitable for display. The price is much lower than other rice field B&Bs.

I set aside two days during the New Year's Day holiday to explore Riyue Bay and stumbled upon this place, 'Dai Zhai'. Its 'chill' vibe instantly appealed to me, someone who loves to just relax and unwind during holidays, so I decided to check it out. The drive along the country road to the very end at the foot of the mountain was quite a revelation – the overall Mediterranean style was stunning. Stepping into the courtyard, every detail showcased the owner's meticulous care: dining tables by the fields, rattan lounge chairs, a bar hut, a European fountain, and a swing under a tree. It was simply perfect. Food-wise, I had three meals here: afternoon tea, breakfast, and an à la carte lunch. From the ingredients to the presentation and taste, everything was thoughtfully prepared, and the service was excellent. Regarding the rooms, there are 22 in total across three floors. The room design is simple and elegant, exactly my style. The use of Jurlique toiletries was another huge plus! The ambiance created by the outdoor pool on the first floor and the surrounding greenery made me feel like I was back in the South of France – absolutely loved it!! On my second day, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and her vibrant, beautiful mother. Through our conversation, I learned that every step of this guesthouse, from initial concept to final execution, involved immense dedication. The designer is Spanish, which explains why the Mediterranean theme is so perfectly realized. In conclusion, I'm confident I'll be back, and I highly recommend it to everyone – a refined guesthouse not to be missed!

One-on-two costs an additional 456 RMB. • Watching two kids go from prone paddling to successfully standing and catching waves was incredibly fulfilling! • The hotel pool is also open for swimming in the evening. This is by far the most comfortable and heartwarming hostel I've ever stayed at in Wanning, bar none! The common areas are incredibly cozy, with a warm, natural wood aesthetic. The two-story shared living room, electronic piano, and lounge areas are all very spacious, and the natural light and views are amazing – you can see green fields outside the window. As a sofa lover, I was thrilled; it's super comfortable for reading, working, or chatting. The facilities are clean and well-equipped, completely unlike the cramped and messy typical hostel. The owner couple are super nice; they don't intrude excessively, but if you need anything, they're there immediately. They give genuine recommendations for surfing, food, and cycling routes, helping you avoid tourist traps, and they'll actively share local tips, like true friends. The guesthouse atmosphere is relaxed and free, making you feel incredibly secure. The social vibe is fantastic! It's easy to meet like-minded people here. In the evenings, we'd chat about travel, surfing, and play board games together – even introverts can easily fit in. It's not artificially lively, but warmth is everywhere. Coming alone isn't lonely at all, and it's easy to make new friends. The location is in Tianxin Village, quiet and peaceful. It's a short electric scooter ride to Riyue Bay, making daily life convenient. It's clean, the bedding is comfortable, and it offers great value for money. If you want to stay comfortably, have fun, and make friends in Wanning, Roots is definitely the right choice!

I gave it a 5-star rating, though I originally wanted to give 0 stars, or even a negative rating and tell them to get lost. All 5 stars belong entirely to the hotel staff and the restaurant. First of all, the food at the restaurant was genuinely amazing. Both the Chinese and Western dishes were exceptionally well-prepared—truly standing out compared to other hotels I've stayed at, which is really saying something for Sanya, a place overflowing with seafood 👍 The hotel staff were also super nice. Even though I knew they were working overtime during the National Day holiday, both the front desk and the shuttle drivers were extremely patient~ Finally, the reason for the negative rating: We booked a two-leg stay. The first leg was for right before the holiday, but due to a family member's work and a sudden change in our itinerary, we temporarily switched to Sanya as our stopover. At noon the day before departure, we contacted the hotel to coordinate a check-out/cancellation, but by 8 PM we still had no answer, with them claiming they were ”communicating with the group headquarters” and that off-duty time had already begun. At the very same time, friends of ours were also trying to coordinate a cancellation for their booking in Wanning, but theirs was resolved quickly and fully refunded. The end result was that we weren't told until we had already landed in Hainan the next day that a full refund was impossible, and they deducted 80% of the cost for the first leg of our trip. I understand cancellation policies, but I completely disagree with the arrogant attitude of this hotel group, and I will never stay at any of their properties again.

The room was huge, and the butler was wonderful and very attentive—they even threw in extra breakfast! Everything was arranged perfectly. You can't go wrong choosing this place! The beach is just a 100-meter walk behind the hotel, which is super convenient. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. If you want a hassle-free vacation, staying here is incredible value! ☀️

🌿 Hidden Tropical Getaway — I’m Definitely Coming Back! 🌿 I stayed here for 4 nights and honestly, I’m already thinking about my next trip back. The whole vibe of this hotel is peaceful, green, and super relaxing — perfect for a little escape from the city. While my room didn’t face the ocean directly, it overlooked a beautiful garden full of lush tropical trees and plants. It felt like waking up in the middle of a quiet jungle oasis. I loved how calming it was — birds chirping in the morning, swaying palm trees, and so much natural light. The room itself was spotless and stylish, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. You can tell they care about maintaining the place really well. What really made this stay special was the staff. Everyone I met was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help — whether it was arranging transportation or giving local tips. They even have drivers who can take you around to explore nearby beaches and spots, which was super convenient. One of my favorite little perks? The coffee shop inside the hotel where you can grab free coffee anytime. I spent a lot of time there, sipping on iced drinks and reading in the garden — it was honestly the perfect recharge. The whole property feels cozy and nature-focused. Not flashy or crowded — just clean, peaceful, and full of tropical charm. Ideal for solo travelers or couples who want to slow down and soak in some nature. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Wanning or Riyue Bay. I’ll absolutely be back! 🌺✨

The hotel is located in Xinglong, making it convenient to take a taxi to Riyue Bay and Shimei Bay. Since we had already stayed in Lingshui for three days, we didn't have a strong desire for beaches. There are more activities for kids in Xinglong, and I recommend the botanical garden and farms. The hotel has three swimming pools, and although it was quite busy during the National Day holiday, it takes about 5-10 minutes to walk from the guest rooms, the pools weren't crowded, which was generally nice. The Hilton's cookies are delicious, and the breakfast spread is quite generous, but it gets a bit crowded after 9 AM, so I suggest going early. Shimei Bay has a great atmosphere in the evening, and Goofy Bar has a very good setting.

I give this hotel 100% praise. I always thought that the hygiene of B&Bs is difficult to guarantee, but the hygiene here is very good. The balcony is very large, with a panoramic view of the sea. Because I brought children with me, I booked a 3-bedroom. The room is very spacious and the children had a lot of fun. I strongly recommend going to the beach bar opposite at night to sit. There are fireworks 🎆 and it is also very convenient to ride a bike
