"Rooms and breakfast were in line with our expectations. The room was clean - the bath was something very narrowly measured. SPA was in any way good - some glittering plates in the outdoor area. But: When checking in, we were informed that the lift was out and no repair would be made at the weekend. We, both of us, were no longer very young, our room was on the 4th floor. We were offered help in carrying bags, but the staircase had quite criminally tight, short steps in one floor - not just ideal. I also noticed that the call button panel was expanded on all floors. In Parterre, the floor display is also expanded. After a short lift failure, the whole thing didn't look like - there would have been enough a sign, at least the main switch could have been turned off. I suppose the lift was longer defect, and will it stay for a while? At the departure, another guest told us that there had been a working staff lift. I think we were not told about it deliberately. I find this a conjecture. I assume it was not the fault of the receptionist - she probably had her instructions. In the hotel description you could have clearly indicated that the PP CHF 6 per day would be charged and the short charges would be charged directly in the hotel. Maybe it is somewhere - then, however, well to read. In all, the price was quite high - for Weggis probably in the usual framework."

"The location of the hotel is perfectly beautiful and conveniently close to public transport. This includes the boats which go on various trips on the lake. Service in the hotel was very good and I would especially like to mention Kenny at reception who was happy to go the extra mile. The food was good and a wonderful breakfast buffet is served. The coffee was good, croissants and bread fresh, a wonderful selection of good quality jam, simply excellent. For those who wanted, there was even smoked salmon and on certain days, a glass of bubbly!! Would also like to mention the two ladies who run “breakfast” and keep things clean and fresh. Thank you."

"This was the best hotel I stayed in during my trip to Switzerland, bar none! It's right on the lake, and you can sit on a chair and enjoy the view. They also upgraded our room, which was large and very comfortable, with a small balcony offering direct views of the lake and the street. The town was very quiet with few tourists. After breakfast in the morning, I strolled along the lakeside and admired the unique houses. The hotel staff were very welcoming and had a family atmosphere."

"Very nice Hotel beside the lake and close to the Cable car station to the Rigi Mountain, 5km from the rack train station. Very warm friendly employees. Very tasteful breakfast with crispy bread and croissant. It was a pity that we arrived the Hotel late and departure early next morning so we could only catch few hours of day light lake view. I had hesitation to choose this Hotel as the room is indicated only 12 square meters, but when we went inside we found it is double of this indicated surface. Wish Hotel and Trip.com could correct this mistake and gives this Hotel a deserved attention."

"Very typical continental breakfast, and the breakfast staff is very nice. We are traveling with children, and the hotel has added a crib. The room also welcomes snacks and fruits, and it feels good.
