"Very friendly staff, whether at reception or at breakfast. Breakfast is good, the touch mMn from the “tache”. Other choice of bread/broad, coating, musli etc. but sufficient. The huge room with balcony was unfortunately very warm. A fan was ready, but only helped something. A flying grid at least in front of the window in the bedroom would be desirable. Equipment has come into the years, but clean and maintained. Bad/Duche very clean. There were a few spine tissues on the ceiling and windows. Would I stay there again? Yes"

Hotel Haus Duden

"The hotel is located in the countryside of Wessel, in a quiet and peaceful setting. The breakfast is good, but there is no kettle in the room; you need to borrow one from the front desk. A deposit of 20 is required. Free parking is available. Overall, it's a standard hotel."

Weseler Wirtshaus Appartements

"Rooms are clean in themselves. The facilities and equipment are strange. chairs too high for table. 2 tables, bix bed and pan pot."

Waldhotel Tannenhäuschen

"The room with a garden view was OK, the breakfast and evening buffet was varied, tasty and of good quality, a good selection of drinks, but not worth almost €500 for 2 nights. The parking fee was paid in advance, but was billed and paid again on departure. I emailed the hotel several times and received a reply once. Not really reachable by phone, computer controlled. So I had to report it to Paypal. Case ongoing!"

Hotel Kaiserhof Wesel

"I stayed at Hotel Kaiserhof while I was stationed in Wesel for a short period (UK military, based at Schill-Kaserne). It was a really convenient place to stay. The location is spot on — right in the town centre, and you can walk to pretty much everything. There’s a supermarket directly behind the hotel, which came in handy. Big plus as well: a free car park. There’s a restaurant downstairs in the building and it’s reopened this year. I ate there a couple of times and the steaks were genuinely excellent. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice, and it starts early (from 6am), which suited my schedule. I started out in a standard room, which was a bit on the small side. As I ended up staying longer, I moved to a comfort room — much better for an extended stay. More space and a balcony as well, which I appreciated. Overall, I was very happy. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, everything was clean, and the price felt fair. Also, sorting the bill through the travel office/booking team was straightforward every time. I’d definitely recommend it, and I’d stay there again."
