"Beautifully clean room and one of them more comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The odd thing was when I called to ask about the availability of shuttle AFTER HOURS the person Who was obviously receiving a diverted phone call had no idea with regard to transport from the airport to an airport based hotel. Just lack of coaching. They were pretty useless. Definitely some more training is needed on that front. There is no reception in the evening, so it’s feels more like an Airbnb than a hotel / Motel.  Would I stay there again maybe if it was real need for it but otherwise not. But I must admit the bed was fantastically comfortable!"

"JUST NOT RELAXING. Don’t bank on a sleep in. Not the place to be if you don’t have kids. Kids everywhere, running through your sites, yelling screaming no sh!ts given, but they’re having a great time. If you’re after a quiet relaxing holiday destination look elsewhere. Wasn’t expecting this outside of school holiday period. On a positive it has good security, ammenities are tidy. Summary: If u don’t have kids DON’T just DON’T come here, if u do this is the park to entertain your kids."

The Retreat West Beach Parks ★★★★

"Our third and longest trip to The Retreat at West Beach. From the minute our family arrive, we just love it here! The close proximity to the beach, Glenelg, Henley and activities such as mini golf, West Adventure and The Big Wedgie is amazing! The park is relaxing, not overbearing and brilliant for children learning to navigate a cabin park. We always stay in the Sundowner cabins, a little older but a lot of space with an oval in front of the cabins, playground and washers very close by. Skala Bakery is brilliant and is within walking distance or biking distance. The West Beach Patiserre is at the Big 4 and also serves brilliant coffee and snacks etc - this place saved our life on Xmas & Boxing Day! The new West Beach Lifesaving Club has newly re-opened and worth booking for dinner and drinks. If you get chance - The Moseley beach club is awesome and family friendly too. Enjoy! "

"The location is excellent, right next to the beach where little one can play in the playground. It’s a good spot to see the sun set though. Drive to harbour town is only 6 mins. The apartment has everything we need, I didn’t use the laundry though, as it looks like the washing machine is operated by a couple of coins which I didn’t bother to do😂. I would recommend this place , quiet and family friendly. The only drawback I would say is the floor is a bit too dirty ( properly only be vacuumed) My little one likes running around with bare feet, after she walks around the apartment I can barely see her feet 😜 I didn’t know Launceston street is actually more clean than an apartment floor before."
