"Regardless of the reason, I booked a hotel online and prepaid Trip.com, but I was still overcharged $102.56 during my stay (Trip.com usually charges $120). When I realized I had been overcharged $102, Trip.com's handling of the issue puzzled me. As a platform, they collected the customer's room fee but didn't pay the hotel, instead making the consumer pay twice instead of ensuring a prompt refund. Furthermore, Trip.com never asked the hotel for evidence during the refund process, but instead frequently asked the consumer to provide evidence. Truly a great platform!"
