"The rooms were lovely and clean and can tell its recently been renovated. The hotel is lovely. Lily on reception last night was lovely and ever so helpful, couldn't have helped us more. Would highly recommend and stay again. Shame about the hotel not having a pool and photos displayed of it though."

"We chose this hotel mainly because of its proximity to a wedding venue we were attending. All but one plug sockets were hidden behind a corner sofa which two of us had to drag out. No plug socket within 15 feet of the tea making station so had to set it on the floor. Then at about 11 at night when the pub down stairs closed the person on lock up flipped off the mains electricity. Nobody there when we went down. So spent the night and morning unable to shower ,no cup of tea,not able to use hair straighteners etc. we’re out early in the morning. Next night same story. Dangerous and disgusting behaviour. Would not return if it was free."

"Self catering en suite rooms in a modernised terrace house, very tastefully done. Kitchen very large and spacious with good facilities (large fridge/freezer etc). Also small patio outside with washing line which was very useful. Kitchen could do with a few more plates/bowls etc . Also the provision of more tea towels as those available to us to clean up after our meal were rather grubby. But otherwise excellent for self catering although be aware that other guests may be using the kitchen at the same time. The only drawback is that there is no parking (but we managed to find somewhere on a nearby road) and the house is situated on a busy road so if you are in one of the front rooms then it can be noisy. Otherwise we were very pleasantly surprised after our initial worries about where our chosen accommodation was. "
