"We stayed 3 nights and attended 2-day cooking school. The cooking school was enjoyable and we learned a few things, although it was over-priced in our opinion. The room was clean and nice. The grounds appeared to be in the process of some improvement, although some areas were overgrown. The biggest change (new owners 2 years ago) was the breakfast food and service. Breakfast historically has been gourmet, now is very basic at best. The service was hurried, ran out of self-serve coffee one of the mornings."

"Enjoyed our stay very much. The room was the Jasmin and was clean spacious and nice. Our breakfast was either brought to our room or the main building. We went to the main build so that we could enjoy the birds and scenery. The staff were all very courteous and the area was very nice. We saw lots of deer and birds/squirrels. Enjoyed our visit very much."

"Pros: The place is very quiet and peaceful and beautiful. The staff are very helpful and responsive. The bed was comfortable and bed linens very nice. Breakfast was good. They have a charger for electric vehicles. Cons: Room and bathroom were tiny which is unacceptable for the price. When we arrived we had to call to get the code to the gate to get in as it was not sent to us in a timely manner. We had to call out to get someone to help us as there is no desk and we did not know what room we were in. In a text we were asked if we wanted red or white wine and we responded but no wine was ever offered. To get in the main building at night you need a code for the back door. There is no way to get in to the front door and no walkway from the parking area or the front door to the back door so we had to walk on the grass in the dark to get to our room. I would not book a room in the main building again."

"Perfect place to stay if you visit Austin / San Antonio The accommodation was amazing, the check-in and check-out, reception is quite easy and with a very friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay in the Room Waterlily very much. The room was clean, spacious and very nice with big windows. Every evening and morning we saw a lot of animals: Birds, squirrels, deer, firefly. The only thing which could be better is the air-condition. In our sleeping room we hear the sounds of the air-condition from the other rooms and it was necessary to sleep with earplugs. This is quite a pity as the hotel itself and surrounding is so quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend this Inn & Spa. And will definitely stay there again"

"This charming inn exceeded our expectations in many aspects. The location was ideal, with easy walking access to all downtown areas. Our room featured quality rustic furniture rather than conventional hotel furnishings, which added a unique touch. Breakfast prepared by Lloyd was outstanding; it was a delightful experience to enjoy homemade biscuits and gravy after so long. We have stayed in several establishments in Wimberley, and this one has become our favorite."
