"This was my first business trip to Xingyang, and since I couldn't find a suitable hotel, I opted for the Ji Hotel, which had a relatively high budget. The hotel is new, with a modern, minimalist Chinese-style lobby. The staff were quite welcoming, and they even offered assistance during check-in. My room faced the park, but I was given a corner room, probably to meet my need for quiet, though the soundproofing was only so-so. The breakfast was decent, with everything you could want, nothing special. What was pleasantly surprising was its proximity to attractions; Liu Yuxi's tomb, the Zheng family's three ancestors, Dahai Temple, and Li Shangyin's tomb were all nearby."

"First, the soundproofing was terrible. I could clearly hear everything happening in the hallway, next door, across the hall, and upstairs. Especially upstairs, I could hear them lifting their blankets, walking, and using the toilet perfectly clearly. And because of the vertical distance, all the noise was amplified, making it impossible to fall asleep. Second, the room was clean and spacious, but apart from toiletries, there were no other disposable hotel amenities like toilet seat covers – very basic. Third, it's located on a main street, and the surrounding area is a bit chaotic. There were drunk people yelling in the middle of the night, and it was very noisy with pedestrians and vehicles at dawn. This is the first time I've written a serious hotel review because while the hotel's facilities might be lacking, the inability to guarantee a good night's sleep makes a positive review impossible. The video below was recorded at 12:34 AM, showing people talking on the street outside my window. The phone's sound quality is very poor; it's almost like they're talking right next to my ear. This is for light sleepers to see. Please do not disturb the hotel owner, thank you 🙏"
