The breakfast selection was pitifully small, and the milk was as bland as water, making me wonder if I was staying in a small town hotel in Northwest China. The room had no heating, and the air conditioning was useless; it was freezing. The front desk offered to bring a heater, but a staff member came over and suggested bringing a blanket instead, as the only heater in the entire hotel had already been borrowed."
