Across the street was the main scenic area of Longyou Gongshui and the Iron Flower Show, visible from the room balconies, while the restaurant's large balcony offered the best views. The complimentary fruit tea and eight-treasure porridge provided at the front desk were delicious."

"I had the misfortune of encountering the rudest, most arrogant front desk staff (likely a manager) I've ever met at a Grand Mercure hotel. This is precisely why I'm hesitant to book directly through your Huazhu app! I'm worried my complaints would go nowhere! We arrived around 2 AM for three rooms. Two were ready, but one was still being cleaned. The male front desk staff didn't even bother to confirm our check-in details. Instead, he immediately started pushing a membership, offering a 99-yuan package for a day's breakfast and an 8.8% discount if we extended our stay tomorrow, completely ignoring how many nights we had actually booked. After I politely declined, he pulled out his phone and fiddled with some invitation code, telling me I needed to scan it to receive front desk service. Thinking I couldn't be bothered to argue, I scanned it, only to find out I was already a member. He then proceeded to badger my friends who were with me to scan the code as well, claiming they needed to scan it to register their information before they could get their room cards. After I declined on behalf of my friends, the male staff member's attitude instantly changed. He declared that if we didn't scan the code, we'd have to wait until the room was clean and then come down ourselves to check in! After going upstairs, the cleaning lady told us the room was ready, but the manager was doing rounds and someone would bring up our room cards later. However, we were left waiting in our room for over an hour until I called the front desk, and another lady finally arranged for a robot to deliver the room cards. Everyone else at the hotel had the excellent service attitude expected of a Grand Mercure, but this one bad apple spoiled the entire hotel's impression! I immediately canceled the remaining nights. Never again!"

The facilities are modern and complete, and very convenient to use. Cleanliness is impeccable, with attention to detail. The service is attentive and meticulous; check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were warm and patient, making guests feel right at home. From the room, you can see the entire night view of Xuan'en, as well as performances like the iron flower dance and various shows. The hotel also provides complimentary late-night snacks, which are absolutely delicious! My stay was fantastic, and I would definitely choose to stay here again!"
