"Stayed in an Executive Room at the old-school Yancheng Marriott. The room itself was clean and tidy, and the service was attentive, but the facilities are definitely dated and old-fashioned. No smart toilets, which feels a bit behind the times. The Marriott Lounge doesn't offer afternoon tea, and the Happy Hour buffet food was very, very poor – completely inconsistent with a 5-diamond executive lounge. The breakfast, advertised at 168 RMB/person, seems appealing to guests, but the reality is far from it. Even 4-diamond hotels with 68-78 RMB breakfasts are twice as good. Don't be fooled by their inflated dining prices."

"This hotel, newly opened in 2026, is conveniently located near the highway exit with smooth road access. There's ample parking both above and below ground. The rooms are spacious, and the facilities are new, with no unpleasant odors from the recent renovation. The separated bathroom design is very efficient. The small pine trees by the entrance give it a charming Korean vibe. The staff are friendly and proactive, always ready to help with luggage and resolve any issues. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, including Korean specialties, and isn't too crowded on weekdays. Although the self-service laundry and gym sometimes have inconsiderate guests who don't pick up their clothes on time, the hotel staff always handle it professionally – kudos to them!"

"The soundproofing is terrible. The noise from the game next door was so loud that I asked the front desk to negotiate but to no avail. I could hear the snoring of the next door clearly. The room with a lake view was sunny and hot every day. There was only a small window that was useless. The air conditioner didn't even cool. I will never book this hotel again."
