"This was a nice guest room above a lively bar/restaurant. Ensuite bathroom, comfy bed, smart TV (need your own account if you want to watch Netflix, iPlayer, etc), and WiFi. Town centre and Yeovil Park are within walking distance (luckily the roadworks had pedestrian access). If you're exploring the wider Somerset, a car is required. No breakfast provided sadly (I went to Morrisons for cooked breakfast and Lidl for continental, both ~5 minutes away), but they have good lunch/evening food which they can take up to your room."

"I recently stayed at the Yeovil Podimore Travelodge, and I was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The hotel offers a budget-friendly, no-frills stay with everything you need for a short visit. The room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bed and a modern en-suite bathroom. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in and making sure all our needs were met. The location is ideal for those traveling through or visiting nearby attractions like the Fleet Air Arm Museum or the charming town of Yeovil. There’s also a handy petrol station and a pub right next door for meals, which adds to the convenience. Despite its proximity to the A303, the hotel was quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The only downside is that the Wi-Fi could be a bit slow at times, but that’s a minor issue compared to the overall value for money. If you're looking for an affordable, comfortable place to rest with easy access to the main roads, I highly recommend the Yeovil Podimore Travelodge!"

"I feel like I want to defend this little stop over. I booked this hotel before seeing the reviews and paying for the second night. I asked to view our room before paying for night two and it was fine! We stayed upstairs in a twin room with steel staircase on side of building. The rooms were a code number to enter which I got on arrival. The room was clean and tidy. No it’s not five stars and high end luxury if you want that in the area expect a huge price tag too. Yes the decor is dated but it was clean and functional and really quiet. There is a communal lounge and roof balcony there which I made use of seemed no one else did so we had it to ourselves. My only comment is the tv didn’t work I can’t complain as I didn’t raise it with the owners at the time so no opportunity for them to rectify it. Myself and my son had our devices so decided we didn’t need it looking at. The restaurant next door is Indian and I highly recommend it I would eat here again. We chose not to have breakfast so cannot comment on the food. Yes we would stay here again it’s very good value"

"It is difficult to go wrong with a Premier Inn but this one is above average. The lady on the front desk was very welcoming and helpful, and gave our children little Easter eggs. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was quite a small hotel but very quiet and everyone slept well. In the morning, the breakfast next door was really nice too. The food was freshly cooked and the staff extremely friendly and helpful, they all interacted with the children and gave them colouring to do which kept them entertained. We were very happy with our stay."
