Happy Nest Yercaud
"Stayed here during the recent family trip to Yercaud. This hotel is located on a byelane/road going around the lake, and so is pretty much in the middle of the key attractions of Yercaud. We opted for the suite room, and it was pretty much like a small 2 BHK apartment. There were two big bedrooms, with attached toilet and bathrooms, having Hot & Cold running water. The rooms also had LED TVs and hot kettles to make a cup of coffee or tea. The dining area was separate with a table and four chairs. Both the rooms also had balconies, which faced the tall trees & garden which was part of the property. There is also free Wi-Fi available, and since our room was just above the main reception area signal strength was also good. The hotel had parking space (accessed by a bit of steep drive way from the main road) and could easily accomodate 8-10 cars. The hotel also had a good restaurant on the top floor of the building which had a decent menu, with more of South Indian varieties of dishes. Breakfast was complimentary, but again the items being standard South Indian breakfast items like idly, vada, pongal etc. The food was quite tasty, and the restaurant also had a nice ambience. Even though being in the centre of the main tourist area, the hotel is located at a very calm and silent place. It was a nice experience to relax in the evening sitting in the balcony. The only disturbance was loud music which gets occassionaly played from a near by area (not sure what that property/building is). The hotel accepts cash, UPI and credit card payments. This hotel & its suite rooms would be ideal for 1-2 families, or larger families making a trip to Yercaud. NOTE: Even though the hotel is located on the border of the Yercaud lake, there is no vantage point from where a view of the lake is possible (from the hotel)."

"Pros 1. Resort is very close to bus stand(roughly 350 to 400 mts) 2. Resort rooms are big and spacious 3. Rooms were clean and proper condition( minor issues which can neglected) cons 1. Food options are less for vegetarians in restuarant(this is true for yercaud in general) 2. Car park is on the slope, so need to careful while parking your car. Overall i had a good stay for 1 day at chill breeze."
