"The hotel was good overall but the woman at the reception desk was not friendly to us."

Holiday Inn Express & Suites YORK by IHG ★★★

Best Western Plus York Hotel Conference Center ★★★

"Plus in BW, renovated, good health, there is a restaurant on the first floor. The room will have sound near the corridor ice machine."

Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites York ★★★

"This hotel is brand new, built in 2026. Everything is very clean, and well built. The beds was comfortable, the mattress was nice. Towels fluffy and clean. Spacious, modern looking shower with an excellent shower head, water pressure and temperature. Jennie at the front desk was very helpful and speedy with check in. Highly recommend giving this place a stay"

Quality Inn ★★

"Very nice check-in clerk who was very helpful. Given room 120 but after unpacking and picking up dinner, room was still very cold. Clerk, came to room and determined that heater was broken. Moved us next door (luckily) and all good. Both rooms had broken lampshade brackets, 120, worse than 118 and worn lampshades. This sets a uncared for tone. I think housekeeping should report this and replace. It's a common flaw in Comfort Inns. Tub was slippy but there was a grab bar on the wall outside shower curtain."
