"This hotel is a bit out of the way, but it's great value for money. There's an outlet mall nearby with many brands, making shopping very convenient. The staff are warm and attentive. Breakfast is provided, and while the coffee on the first floor isn't 24-hour, hot water is available around the clock. For a chain hotel, it offers excellent value."

"Some good things, some not as good. We had stayed here 15 years ago and returned because they had a lot of rooms with oversized Jacuzzi tubs. Prices in the summer are unreasonable, which is why we went mid-week in March. The gas fireplace must have been run before we got there, because the room was really hot and we couldn't get it cooled down all night. The next day we returned to our room to find someone had entered the room even though the privacy tag was on the door and opened the windows. Then a service person knocked on the door in the middle of the afternoon while we were napping (again with the tag on the door), to come in and reset the gas stove. The second night there was a lot of noise on the floor above us, like furniture being moved around. It went on for at least an hour at 10pm before I called the front desk about it. Another minor thing, the hairdryer didn't work. But otherwise the room was nice, with water view across the street and private parking behind the building. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was outstanding! A full menu of anything you could want: hot egg dish, potatoes, French toast, cut fruit, yogurt, granola, oatmeal. I'm sure I'm forgetting more things lol. We explored the small park across the street and tried to go on the Cliff Walk, but it was mostly closed due to recent storm damage."
