There is a mini market 200 m from the hotel. And if you take a walk on the beach - go to the right (much softer sand and better walk angel - not so steep). We did not try the service - massage etc"

"We’ve just returned from a wonderful holiday at the Ionian Theoxenia Hotel, and it certainly didn’t disappoint! The first thing I’d mention is how incredibly clean the hotel is. Everywhere, from the bedrooms to the pool area and all the communal spaces are spotless. The housekeeping team do an amazing job, and the whole hotel is maintained to a really high standard. What really makes this hotel stand out, though, is the people. Every member of staff is genuinely friendly, welcoming and happy to help. You’re made to feel like a valued guest rather than just another room number, and that personal touch makes such a difference. They are happy to go above and beyond. The location is another big plus. It’s only a few minutes’ walk to Kanali’s lovely beach, with plenty of tavernas, cafés and bars nearby. Kanali has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and feels like a proper Greek village rather than a busy tourist resort. The locals are incredibly welcoming, and we always felt at home. If you’re worried about cost, don’t be. The hotel offers excellent value for money, and so does the resort itself. Eating out is much cheaper than in the UK, the food is delicious, and even drinks are very reasonably priced. You can enjoy a fantastic holiday without constantly worrying about your budget. Kanali is also perfectly placed for exploring this beautiful part of Greece. We spent time in the picturesque town of Parga, took a memorable boat trip to the crystal-clear waters of Paxos and Antipaxos, wandered around the marina and old town in Preveza, and enjoyed a scenic drive around the stunning island of Lefkada. "We revisited this location after 7 years and found the same cozy place with the same relaxing atmosphere. Being pretty close to the beach with sea view from the balcony, but without the noisy traffic is a perfect place to enjoy a calm and relaxed vacation. The rooms are very nice decorated, very clean and the kitchenette has everything you need to prepare a quick meal. The interior design is making all the difference when compared with the other accommodations in the same price range closer to the beach. Very good value for the money. The host is very helpful and reacts very quickly to solve any issue might appear. Definitely a place to come back to!"
