"This is a fantastic hotel, with business travel prices like a five-star hotel. I was in Jincheng on business and saw this hotel had only been open for a little over a year. The price was right, and the room was spacious, so I booked it immediately. Xiao Yan, a hotel staff member, then called me and was very considerate. He gave me the location and sent us breakfast and a fruit plate. It was truly wonderful. The hotel environment was great, and the room was comfortable, with a great mattress. I slept so well!"

"The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. The domestic and dining staff were obviously a hard working team. And amongst the amenities I would like to include the taxi driver who took me to Zhijiao Temple. He became a tour guide with English translations of local history. I refer to him as an amenity as he was chosen for the job by a member of the reception staff. I hope you will pass on my appreciation. So all good. Well I do feel that fixtures and fittings in the room could be improved."

"The security here is absolutely terrible. We briefly stopped at the entrance to unload our luggage, and a guard immediately came over with a really aggressive tone and attitude, telling us we couldn't park there and had to move the car immediately. We explained we were just temporarily stopping to unload luggage and would leave right away, but he gave us a look like he wanted to hit us, saying no. The next day when we checked out and drove up to load our luggage, he again rushed over, spoke with a horrible tone, and was very belligerent. As we were leaving, he even took photos of our license plate. Seriously, does your hotel not vet its employees? Can anyone work in the service industry? That guard is more suited to being a ****."

The cleaning staff tidied up immaculately every day, and they proactively restocked toiletries when they were running low. The front desk lady was incredibly nice; she enthusiastically told me about local attractions and good eats when I checked in, and even stored my luggage for free after I checked out, which was a really thoughtful touch. All the room amenities were in perfect working order, the Wi-Fi was super fast, and the lighting was soft and easy on the eyes. The hotel itself was very quiet, with no noise whatsoever, and the room didn't have any strange smells. It was so relaxing, just like being at home. I honestly give it a five-star recommendation!"

"Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this guesthouse. Because I had a medium-sized dog with me, there weren't many options, so I chose the most expensive dog-friendly guesthouse in Dayang Ancient Town. The result was a disaster. It was freezing cold; the heating was completely useless. They had gas heating, but I felt it was leaking gas, making breathing extremely uncomfortable. As for hygiene… the room was incredibly rustic. There was black debris from the rafters on the blankets, and peeling paint from the ceiling on the floor. I just wanted to avoid using the bathroom. The next day, when I went to town, I found that even the public toilets were cleaner than the guesthouse's. No pictures; I didn't feel like taking any. I just wanted to escape. If you don't believe me, go experience it for yourself."
