"This was an overnight stopover driving through from Spain to Paris... It was as expected. The receptionist was very nice and helpful and the accommodation had been recently improved. A little outside of town, and the locals (at the corner shop) were to be avoided."

"Overnight stay in room iberis. Cost more than 110 €. Positiv Big room and good baathroom Parking Negative Nobody there. We had to do everything our self -Arriving. Nobody present. We had to call to get a code to enter the building. - We took room IBERIS, because it should have an aircondition. . No track of aircon, but a fan on the floor (more than 30 degrees in the room) se picture. .Bed had a duvet for the winter... Took it out (picture) -Breakfast. .Had to find out our self what was available in the cooler. Some bread and marmelade+ butter -Bad smell in the kitchen. Found out it was fermented vegetables in the dishwasher. Sum: We will not use Maison Fontabelle anymore. To poor and to expencive."

They let us keep one of rooms for a late check out so we could sneak in a little more shopping & lunch before driving home. But perhaps the best thing was the location- can’t be beat! "Parking in the underground carpark was challenging to say the least. Like playing Tetras with cars! The colour scheme is garish throughout and the floorboards squeak incredibly loudly with every movement in the bedroom making sleep very difficult, with really loud noises coming from within your own room and from next door! Pity anyone sleeping underneath a room with such a racket coming from above with every step and movement! Having said that, the staff were very friendly and couldn't be faulted."
