Daiwa Roynet Hotel Aomori
"This hotel in Aomori is affordable and comfortable. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, which is great. It's only about a ten-minute walk from the station, and there's a Lawson convenience store downstairs, which is really convenient."
Richmond Hotel Aomori
"A stylish, modern hotel with reception on the 5th floor. Nice seating or working area near reception, also amenities and a microwave. Room nice and adequate size for a short stay. On arrival the room was prepared for single occupant but this was quickly corrected. Location fine for walking to supermarkets and train/busses."
ReLabo -Medical Spa & Stay
"The hotel's location is excellent; you can take the elevator directly up from the JR station. The front desk staff are all very kind and friendly, especially one gentleman who speaks Chinese. The entrance design for the ladies' public bath is a bit odd, lacking sufficient privacy, and the changing room area feels a bit cramped. The lounge on the same floor offers beautiful views, facing the sea, and you can see A-Factory and other Aomori landmarks directly. The lounge provides drinks and even small snacks in the evening. There's an ice cream freezer next to the front desk, which is perfect after a bath. The hotel also offers activities like yoga and Pilates, which I didn't get a chance to try this time. Although it was the most basic room type, we were on the 10th floor with great views. On our second day, we saw a huge rainbow and even experienced an earthquake – a truly unforgettable experience! I would definitely choose to stay here again when I visit Aomori."
Art Hotel Aomori
"I wanted heating, they claimed no built in heating saying it is not winter. So I requested portable heater. Staff brought it. But it did not even turn on. So I told them again. Then they brought other one. Second one turned on, but broke down after few minutes. So I told them about that and they brought another one, which broke down again after few minutes. Plus there was some smoking smells. I got frustrated with never ending issues so I shortened my stay but they didn’t even refund."
HOTEL MYSTAYS Aomori Station
"Good and value hotel At the front door might looks small and average but when go up to the lobby and room has more nice vibe and interior. The room is small type but okay for few nights. - I like that the bathroom is separate and quite spacious. - They have water dispensers at all floor which is very nice. - The kettle is small but boiling fast. - I can feel attention to detail in every area. - Staff is nice. Hotel is close to the station and have family mart nearby. Also lots of restaurants, such as izakaya or comfort food like ootoya and walkable to Nokkedon morning market. If I visit Aomori again, this is one of my hotel choice."
Berjaya Hakkoda Ski Resort
"Great value for money, and the location is fantastic! It's only a 3-minute walk to the Hakkoda Ropeway Station. We visited in late October and experienced heavy snow, so it would be the perfect place to stay for skiing in winter. It's also very convenient to drive from here to Jōgakura Bridge and Sukayu Onsen."

"Clean and tidy, beautiful environment"
Super Hotel Aomori
"Good, nice price and the location"
Toyoko Inn Shin-Aomori-Eki Higashi-Guchi
"The location is excellent, just a short walk to the station, which is great even with luggage! If it snows, you can easily call a taxi right outside. It's a bit of a walk to Don Quijote, but definitely manageable, and it's a huge store! Anyway, we mostly used the subway to get around. The immediate area around the hotel is a bit barren, but it's perfect for a transit stay!"

Hotel Select Inn Aomori
"I wasn’t expecting that much with this price, but surprisingly good hotel with this price. They serve free beef bowl at night and 550 yen breakfast buffet was very nice. They got some curry and chicken dishes and it was very tasty. Night view was nice and there is Machinaka-Onsen nearby so i strongly recommend to visit there. Room and toilet was very small and very old but it was not that bad. After all i was surprisingly satisfied with this hotel, and i wanna visit there again if i go to Aomori again. 5/5."
Hotel Sunroute Aomori
"The hotel is very nice. Food also very good. Location is very convenient for travel. Room was very clean."

Yadoya Tsubaki
"Perfect location. Easy to get to Aomori. Very Japanese town. The hotel is also very Japanese. I like it. Perfect location. Easy to get to Aomori. Very Japanese town. The hotel is also very Japanese. I like it."
Kaisenkaku
"A very good hotel in the Asamushi Onsen area, it has everything you need, and there is a Tsugaru Shamisen performance at night, which is worth seeing. The hotel is large, so there are many guests, which may be different from traditional Japanese hot spring B&Bs. The dinner is a comprehensive style, with both Japanese and Western styles. The sea is right outside the room, and the view is first-class. The interior layout is also very ingenious."
Hotel Akitaya
"The room was very clean and comfortable."
Hotel Jogakura
"It's a rustic hotel up in the mountain. Would not be easy to get there without a car. Service was impeccable. Onsen is excellent The view from the outdoor onsen is fantastic The meals were great."
Kappo Ryokan Satsuki
"We stayed here with our dog. There are no other facilities in the area that accept dogs, so this inn is very convenient. Even though it's a traditional, traditional Japanese inn, meals are served in the room, with a table set up for you. Naturally, our dog ate here, too. Each dish was carefully prepared and elaborate. It truly lives up to its reputation as a traditional Japanese inn. The menu was rich in local flavor and was delicious. We were very satisfied. The coasters and menus were all handwritten by the proprietress, and I was impressed by how much care she puts into her guests. The staff were all friendly, smiling, and easy to talk to. The person in charge of our room was a good talker and listener, and very kind. The bath was a little cramped, and it seemed like it was difficult for three people to fit in at the same time, which was a bit disappointing, but it was a very nice bath and very comfortable. I've been staying in hotel-style facilities more often recently, so it's been a while since I've stayed in a Japanese-style inn like this. I've been finding it annoying having staff come into my room all the time, but this experience made me realize once again how wonderful traditional Japanese inns are. Thank you, Satsu-san."
Yanagi No Yu
"The location is not far from Aomori Station, about ten minutes' walk. When leaving the hotel, you can ask the hotel to arrange a hotel car to leave the station. The facilities are relatively old, but the service is in place. Dinner and breakfast are traditional Japanese. Whether they are delicious or not depends on personal preference. The hot springs are divided into Men and women, I went there at night. The spring water was okay. There were only two indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor spring water was not hot enough. The bedroom was a Japanese-style tatami. I couldn't sleep on it. My waist was red the next day. Overall it was okay. I might come again next time."
Asamushi Onsen Tatsumikan
"The large public bath was reserved for private use, probably because it was a weekday. When I first took a bath, I felt like I was in a hot spring, but when I took a bath after dinner, the water felt gentle on my skin and was amazing. There was too much food to finish. The taste was neither good nor bad."
Hotel JAL City Aomori
"If you've stayed at other JAL City hotels, you'll know how good this one is! The staff, in particular, are incredibly attentive, warm, and friendly! The entire room is full of thoughtful and guest-friendly details. I recommend the renovated rooms from 2025 because I saw other reviews mentioning outdated facilities, but the rooms after the 2025 renovation are perfectly fine, and they even have Dyson hairdryers. The evening lounge is also great, and the cider is good. The view from the room window is also very nice."
Hotel Route-Inn Aomori Chuo Inter
"Good hotel with good service. We had onsen for free"
Tsubakikan
"Asamushi Onsen is only suitable for day trips, so you don't need to stay overnight."
Hotel Route-Inn Aomori Ekimae
"The bed was so hard… feels like sleeping on rocks. Other than the location, nothing much to say about the hotel. One of the most negative experience I had. It has public bath but too cold to use it."
