Daiwa Roynet Hotel Aomori
"Location of the hotel was very good and ideal for us, close to all the places that we wanted to visit, and near to the Aoimori station which is very convenient. The room size was spacious for Japanese standard."
ReLabo -Medical Spa & Stay
"Right at JR Aomori Station, even connected by the same lift. Bus station is also just outside. Access is superb, and walkable distance to a few spots like A-Factory and the nokkendon place. The onsen nice too: they have a mini apple bath!"
Richmond Hotel Aomori
"It’s relatively a large single room in Japan. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Lawson next door which is convenient."
HOTEL MYSTAYS Aomori Station
"I was a bit worried as the hotel looks old, but when I am there, it is very new and nicely maintained. I had one of my best sleep in Japan, as their bed and pillows were very very very nice. Fantastics experience and above what I expected."
Dormy Inn Aomori Natural Hot Spring
"It is located in downtown Aomori, though a bit far from Aomori Station. However, many major attractions are within walking distance. Amenities are self-service, and children’s amenities are also available. After using the hot spring, yogurt is provided in the morning, and various kinds of ice cream are offered at night. Breakfast features local Aomori dishes, and after 9:30 PM free ramen is served, which was perfect as a late-night snack."
Hotel JAL City Aomori
"Little walking distance from Aomori station but still acceptable distance even with luggages! Near by the Aomori city attractions and easy to get the bus to other site seeing places! The breakfast is good with a lot of variety so even you stay for few days still feel so good!"
Art Hotel Aomori
"Good location clean room bf has varieties front desk friendly n efficient . Many nebula and art display"
Hotel Sunroute Aomori

Smile Hotel Aomori
"The hotel is 1km from Aomori Station. Even though it is a small one with only four storeys (including ground floor), it provides almost everything that budget travellers need. The hotel is clean inside, and supplies can be obtained on every floor on your own need. The only concern is probably the floor height on 2/F to 4/F — tall travellers may have to be careful when walking along the corridors on those floors!"
Hotel Select Inn Aomori
"I wasn’t expecting that much with this price, but surprisingly good hotel with this price. They serve free beef bowl at night and 550 yen breakfast buffet was very nice. They got some curry and chicken dishes and it was very tasty. Night view was nice and there is Machinaka-Onsen nearby so i strongly recommend to visit there. Room and toilet was very small and very old but it was not that bad. After all i was surprisingly satisfied with this hotel, and i wanna visit there again if i go to Aomori again. 5/5."
Aomori Forest Hotel Annex
"room is clean , little parking in front of the hotel but they have 2nd parking near the hotel about 300 meters from hotel and you can walk to Aomori fish market"
Hotel 2135
"The room was clean and nice. The location was also very good, so it was convenient. I would like to stay again."
Asamushi Onsen Tatsumikan
"The hotel's location is excellent, just about 200 meters to the left of the JR line exit. The town is quite peaceful, perfect for a family vacation. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even to those of us who don't speak Japanese. We had the half-board option (dinner and breakfast), and both meals were very generous portions. We stayed for two nights, and the meals were different each day. As for the taste, that's really a matter of personal preference."
Kaisenkaku
"For those who prefer a quiet and off-the-beaten-path trip, this is the top choice. It's a highly recommended hotel near Asamu Onsen. There's a traditional Japanese musical performance in the lobby every evening at 8:30 PM 🎤 which kids love. There's a shuttle bus to the Asamu Aquarium with a timetable from morning until around 3 PM, but it's best to book in advance to ensure availability. When we arrived late, the hotel kindly called to arrange a shuttle for us; conversely, without a reservation, we didn't get a shuttle and had to wait for the hourly bus 🚌. Aside from public transportation, everything is highly recommended. On our first day, we enjoyed a Japanese buffet made with local ingredients. Every day and every meal had a different set meal, very unique! We even ate at Wang Lin's... Gangjian is quite large, but it's a bit unreasonable that a six-year-old boy was charged the adult rate for a night's stay and two meals. In the rush to check out, I left behind my shoes and pants. A few days later, they were back in China. After contacting Ctrip and the hotel, they kindly sent them to my friend's house in Osaka via express delivery (shipping fee at my own expense). Very thoughtful."
Toyoko Inn Shin-Aomori-Eki Higashi-Guchi
"Clean, simple, and cost effective! You can not beat the closeness to the train station! Will book it again next time if I come this way."
Toyoko Inn Aomori Ekimae
"This hotel is very close from Aomori Station. I had 8:09 am train departing from there, had plenty of time for a hearty breakfast at the hotel, and had to walk about one minute to the station. The staff were kind and attentive. There is Daiso at the station along with other shops. Nebuta museum, Aomori bay bridge, Aoi ocean park, the famous nokkedon market are all within walking distance."
Yadoya Tsubaki
"close to train station. wifi is slightly weak depending on which room you are staying though."
Hakkoda Hotel
"The staff are friendly and helpful. They even valet park my car everyday for my 4n stay there. The half board dinner omakase is very good with quality and diversity. It is a sprawling hotel and had very few guests when I was there. For the room that I have selected, they could have upgraded or simply provided me a room that is not too far from the the lifts and perhaps a higher floor with a better view. I find that most of the time hotels do not hire experienced front office staff which is so important because that this the contact point when first impressions are made. All staff speak little or no English except for one front office staff who spoke a little bit but was very helpful."
Tsubakikan
"We traveled to Aomori to experience the Nebuta festival. Most places in Aomori were booked so we happened across this ryokan in a nearby town just a 10 minute train ride away. I'm glad we found this little gem. The lobby and rooms are newly decorated. There is a wonderful collection of Shikō Munakata woodblock prints in the lobby. The rooms are comfortable and air conditioned (it was quite hot outside). The rooms have lavatories and water closets, but bathing occurs at the onsen located next to the guest rooms. The town has a beach area with paddleboard rentals and several restaurants (Kannon was nice). The ryokan staff have been very cordial and helpful- but speak limited English. We opted for room only instead of dinner and breakfast as we were out for the festival. But each night they had prepared some soup for the guests as they returned to ryoken which we all enjoyed and appreciated."
Aomori Center Hotel
"The location will be great during other seasons except winter. As Aomori will be having heavy snow during winter and it is hard to walk from the JR station to hotel. Although it is only 550m away from the train station, it took us 40 mins walking time because it was snowing. The hotel itself is quite old but the room is clean and cozy. The bathroom is quite small and you might hit the wall easily. For anyone that has a tattoo, you will not be able to get into the onsen Breakfast was decent and we enjoyed a lot. Walking distance to some of the spots, wet market, A Factory and others."
Hotel Akitaya
"Located in the middle of Asamushi Onsen town, the ocean view offers a wonderful view of the sea. There is also a restaurant next door that can be used for lunch. The roadside station "Asamu Onsen" is nearby, making it convenient for choosing souvenirs. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the large public bath on the 6th floor is spacious and offers a panoramic view of the sea. The staff are all polite, and the breakfast and dinner buffets are plentiful and delicious."
Yanagi No Yu
"I arrived at the hotel a little earlier than usual, around 3pm. I parked my car in the parking lot, and the staff came out to help me move my luggage, so I was able to enjoy a fantastic day. Not only the room I was shown to, but the dinner was one of the best I've ever experienced. The hot spring was also satisfying. Unfortunately, there was too much snow, so I had some limitations in looking around, but after looking around for a while, I realized that the surrounding area was also a hot spring area, so it was nice to take a walk. However, please note that there are restaurants and convenience stores a little far away. So I recommend dinner unless you arrive late. In fact, it can be a good dinner time to the point where I recommend arriving early for dinner and enjoying dinner, so please note this as well."
