"Disappointing Food and Room Quality, Not Up to 4-Star Standards We arrived at the resort on the 26th and are due to leave on the 1st. We chose the full board option, expecting a relaxing and enjoyable family holiday. The location is beautiful, and the swimming pools and beach are decent, but that’s about where the positives end. The rooms are in dire need of improvement; they feel outdated and not up to the standard you would expect from a 4-star hotel. However, the biggest letdown is the food. The buffet is extremely limited, especially for children. Despite being in Italy, there is no pizza available unless you pay extra, which is disappointing given that it’s a staple in Italian cuisine. While pasta is always present, there are no other child-friendly options like chicken or basic dishes suitable for kids. There’s a juice dispenser available only at breakfast, but nothing similar is provided during lunch or dinner—not even fresh orange juice. It feels like the hotel is cutting corners, which is unacceptable given the full board package we paid for. I was really looking forward to this holiday, but the food quality and room standards have been a major letdown. I expected much better from a4star resort."

"The hotel has an interesting architecture and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast is ok but not fantastic. Regarding the parking, if you park the car inside the hotel, the keys must be handed over in the reception. Having said that, I must refer that I was shocked by the lack of politeness and rudeness of the hotel/restaurant manager. Atrocius bad manners. We checked in at around 5pm, without being given any information about using the pool. At 7:20 pm, when we returned from the beach, I went up to my room while my sons (16 and 14) went to the pool without knowing that it closed at 7:30 pm. While they were in the shower to clean off the salt and sand, they were approached aggressively and rudely by a man speaking Italian, a language that my children don't speak. Given my children's complaints, I asked reception about the rules of the pool, and was told that it opened at 9:00 am and closed at 7:30 pm. Nothing more. I passed that information to my sons and forgot about it. The next day, we arrived at 6:15pm and my sons used the pool, while I went went to the nearby supermarket for around 20 minutes. When I returned, the rooms' key cards were blocked because "we didn't respect the rules of the pool". My wife asked what rules were that and they said that "children must be accompanied by their parents and no diving was allowed". I went to the pool to inform my sons about it. I talked to the employee of the pool who told me that they have dived 3 times and that they were not accompanied by me. I read the rules and it didn't refer the ages of the children so it seemed that younsters under 18 are considered children. I sat in the pool chairs and waited till the 7:29pm and to assure that the rules were followed by my sons. As I was there, 2 others boys dived into the pool, the employee saw it but didn't care on a clear double standards attitude. At 7:30pm, we left the pool and the manager was appologizing to some customers, saying that the reprimands were not for them, but for "others". I speak Italian so I understood it clearly. The "others" was me and my family, but he didn't have the righteousness of talking to me personally during the 2 days that we spent there. This situation could be avoided easily if he did it and if he could show some politeness. But no, just bad manners and total unability to deal with simple, easy to solve situations. I intended to have dinner at the restaurant but changed my mind because of that. When I made the check-out, I complained about it but the reception employees gave me ridiculous excuses about the behaviour of the manager."

"We had a lovely time at the Arbatax Park Resort! The food was really good and the personal always friendly and helpful! The beach was only a couple of meters from our room, with Cristal clear water and the beach bar serves the best cocktails 😉"

"Very spacious and very clean rooms. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were very welcoming. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The pool was beautiful and the à la carte restaurant was delicious. Highly recommended. Thank you, Saraceno."

"I rarely write reviews, but I'll have to share my experience at Borgo Cala Moresca. My family (two adults + two kids) booked a week at Borgo Cala Moresca with a connecting room + half-board. The first evening we had dinner in the restaurant (included in half-board). We sat on the patio with a nice view of the pool and sea. Several guests noticed something crawling on the roof truss right above our table. We noticed movement, but couldn't quite tell what it was. A few minutes later, we got up from our table and noticed it was a large rat. We were shocked and disgusted. At least one of the waiters looked directly at it, but took no action. My guess is that it's not the first time this happened. The following morning we went to the reception as we decided to check out and cut our stay short. We simply couldn't eat at a restaurant with live rats running around. (We asked for full or partial refund, but didn't receive it.)"

"Lovely location, good amenities . Some staff were not very helpful or maybe not trained well? Possibly the season end being due meant they were tired and desperate to get away? Seemed to lack management/organisation. Main park could do with more activities on site for all ages? We left 2 days early due to boredom really. Shame as there is so much potential there."

"Please don’t come here if you expect a holiday getaway. It’s stressful that the service is terrible and no matter what you order it taste terrible - even a simple coffee in the morning. The restaurant in the evening is sad too. How can you serve salat that is Braun??? . Throughout the “resort” there a unfinished paint jobs and broken handles etc. luckily the price is high too… I am really and truly honest in saying that this has been a terrible and ruining holiday for me and my girlfriend…"
