"Too many issues to mention: 1) Rooms full of ants 2) Reception staff especially Celeste has been rude. Tried to complain about the ants and showed her videos recorded but she was just rude and out of order with her broken English. 3) Breakfast very basic - just unhealthy sweet food. Avoid this place at all cost!"

"The place is very beautiful and characteristic, although it is a bit spooky at night in the dark... rooms can be cold in winter and have little privacy since they open onto the ground floor with a window overlooking the courtyard. Furthermore, the room only had a glass entrance door, resulting in the cold coming in from outside. Breakfast I expected more honestly, quite sparse, although the products were all very good and genuine. In short, for the rather high prices charged, we expect something more!"

"We traveled as 3 families, parents and toddlers, 10 people in total. Guest interaction: The owner is very accomodating and friendly. The reservation made easy, sufficient in high level of professionalism, regardless my limited ability to communicate in local language. Location : 5 - 10 minutes drive away from the city centre or major attractions yet it feels secluded, closer to nature, offers calmness within the woods. Cleanliness: Being a hotelier myself, i am one of the "Karen" when it comes to accommodation cleanliness, but this villa is spotless and efficiently clean. Ambience: Warm, homey feeling, kids friendly with right temperature. The silence guaranteed us good sleeps, except we have children , otherwise the atmosphere is perfect for a serenity gateway. Parking: Lots of space, private parking lots with remote gates. Price: Great value for money. Within our budget range, it is really not easy to find the accommodation in the area that tick all our boxes. Overall, highly recommended. "

"What we liked · Spacious and very clean room. Location close to the historic center and the pedestrian area. Good value for money. What we disliked · The owner was not available even to collect documents. Poor sleep quality. The area didn't seem to be among the best in Arezzo, and I think you could find better for the services offered and the price. Not recommended."

Hotel Piero Della Francesca

"Starting from the assumption that I was neither checked in nor checked out, therefore they did not register my presence in the structure... the whole stay (fortunately short) was horrendous. The door to the room had a rickety lock, so anyone could get in with a little force. The window seemed practically open from the cold drafts coming in... and the sheets were full of strange fluff. We don't really talk about breakfast... all hard and inedible, I was reduced to bread, butter and jam and even that was disgusting. Second day we opted for the closest bar which I highly recommend (the sweet side). Old hotel, indifferent staff. Don't go there. Point."

Residence le Corniole

"I stayed at the "Le Corniole" property in Arezzo from April 19th to 21st. The information about the property on the websites is inaccurate. The room we stayed in does not match the photos. It is located on the top floor of the building, in the attic, without a balcony, with a window overlooking the Arezzo train tracks. The restaurant's exhaust fan on the roof, which, due to the draft, made a constant, unbearable noise until past midnight, was in poor condition. We had to go down to the restaurant to discuss the difficulty of staying in the room with the owner (who also manages the front desk when his assistant is not present). The website sells a stay that includes breakfast. The breakfast, called a "box" (not specified on the websites), consists of a tray of packaged biscuits, a bottle of water, and a carton of milk in the refrigerator (no coffee available). We used the car for breakfast on the two holidays since the bar near the property (500 meters) was closed. We tried to complain about the poor service of the facility, but we never found anyone at the reception, except on the day of our departure. I'll conclude by saying that this was the worst facility I've ever stayed in for a three-star hotel."
