Iakinthos, Tsilivi Beach
"The hotel is right outside the beach. We arrived at the hotel early. Although we couldn't check in early, the front desk gave us blankets to enjoy the sun on the beach. We could order food while we were waiting. It was quite humane. The sun was very comfortable and the service attitude was very good."
Zante Maris Suites - Adults Only
"The hotel is on a small hill, and there are electric cars to pick you up and down the hill. The room has a great view, and you can see the sea view from the room. The service is very good, and you can choose alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks when you check in. Because we signed up for a one-day tour that started in the morning, the breakfast on the next day was originally open at 8 o'clock, so they specially helped us arrive at 7:30 in advance"
Alamis Hotel & Apartments
"Not bad, very good"
Olea All Suite Hotel, a Member of Design Hotels
"The hotel staff provided great service. Fortunately, the hotel allowed us to check in early. The environment was very quiet and the breakfast was delicious. There was a food market and souvenir shops within a 5-minute walk, which was very convenient."
Ecoresort Hotel Zefyros
"Functional hotel with helpful and welcoming staff. Very clean and well-insulated rooms, equipped with air conditioning and welcome kit. Well-kept swimming pool, but unfortunately full of bees, which make access annoying. Breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace, but not very usable due to the presence of bees. The quality of the food is a bit poor, even though there is a lot of choice. In my opinion it would be better to focus more on quality than quantity. The same applies to the condition of supplies present in the common areas of the hotel which appear to be worn and stained."
Contessina Hotel
"This hotel offers a great environment, clean and cozy rooms, and warm, attentive service. The price is reasonable, making it a high-value choice. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it to everyone!"
Balcony Boutique Hotel
"Amazing experience! The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. We will definitely be back!"
Lazaros Hotel Resort
"Top choice! Great stay at Lazaros. Although I stayed in a room at the front part of the hotel it was very quiet and I enjoyed quality sleep. I needed to work for a couple of hours and the Wi-Fi was really good compared to other places I have stayed in Greece. Bathroom was big and modern and the whole place was spotless clean. Also, a big plus are the beach towels provided at the reception. I would definitely recommend it!"
Lesante Blu, a Member of the Leading Hotels of the World - Adults Only
"The room faces the sea and has a beautiful view. Fine dining doesn't seem to be worth the price. The hotel service is proportional to the price and not excessive. A very thoughtful thing is that you can reserve a shower room in the spa after checking out, so you can take a shower before leaving."

Anetis Hotel
"Just returned from 9 days stay at the Anetis... what a fabulous time we had. Very clean rooms, excellent view, brilliant and hospitable staff. I wouldn't stay anywhere else as we have been truly spoilt by this beautiful place. Nothing is too much trouble for all the staff... Dennis, Billy, Ilias and all the staff from the Lifetime bar ensure that you have a wonderful holiday. The food in the Lifetime bar is delicious.....compliments to the chef.... I really can't wait to holiday at the Anetis again next year."
Karras Grande Resort
"The location is fantastic, there are many shops, restaurants and a wonderful beach nearby. The service is wonderful, always smiling. Everything I need is handled without any problems, even a birthday surprise with a cake and a last-minute restaurant.Clean rooms, coffee, tea, kettle and ironing board with iron. Large balcony with hairdryer. The price is perfect. The food is always fresh and constantly replenished.A wonderful family atmosphere everywhere..Peace and quiet..I highly recommend it. No complaints."
Filoxenia Hotel Zakynthos
"Filoxenia is a nice and clean hotel, with friendly staff (the man at the main bar during the day is a little grumpy but nothing a friendly chat can’t help) We stayed in room 301, 2 bedroom with another couple. The room was clean, and had most things we need but really missed having a full body mirror, plenty of space on the walls/doors for this, the shower did leak out onto the floor, we just used extra towels to stop that. The hotel is located a 15/20 minute walk from the shops and bars which is nice as at night time it’s nice and quiet. The ice comes in bags and the water fountain comes from bottles. We loved the food they had, was always something for everyone, we had a very fussy eater and was always able to find something, lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. For the money we paid we were amazed! This is the 3rd time I have stayed here and I would stay again. Go to Lofos restaurant and pizzeria, AMAZING sunset views while having dinner, it’s a 20 minute taxi around 25 euro each way but oh my is it worth it or get a buggy and drive up there! Then go to the church you see in the photos! When you go to Tsivili beach, walk all the way along the beach to the right until you reach the end, there is a lovely restaurant you can sit at during the day and have the waves splash up at you! (Orange bikini photo) You won’t regret staying here!"
Andreolas Luxury Suites
"Fabulous holiday apartment. Right on the beach front straight into the warm clear waters of the Ionian Sea. Spotlessly clean apartment with maid service every day. Very friendly staff. Only made it for Breakfast twice but it was freshly made. Will be returning"
Selyria Resort
"The hotel has a good size, is not overcrowded, is comfortable, the rooms are clean and the food is perfect. The downsides are that the owner allegedly allows smoking in the bar area when closed during the evening and the showers suffer from leaking into the rooms. Also the beach bar is closed."
Hotel St.John Suites Adults Only
"Zakynthos is a popular Greek island with many hotels, but finding a satisfactory one isn't easy. It needs a sea view, preferably with a pool; good restaurants, at least with a delicious and plentiful breakfast; it shouldn't be too far from the bustling commercial area, so there's something to explore; and most importantly, it needs to be good value for money, not too expensive. After quite a bit of searching, we finally found this hotel. Upon checking in, we really liked the room, including the large outdoor pool, and the room's layout and decor. The only unexpected thing was that the hotel was located on a hillside, and it had several different areas. The road signs were different from the names on the online booking, causing our driver to spend a lot of time searching. Fortunately, we could call the front desk to call a car for getting in and out, but it was a bit far to go shopping. The hotel restaurant's food was delicious, although even with a 10% discount for hotel guests, it was still a little pricey. Breakfast offered several set menus to choose from, and there were also complimentary fruits, cheeses, and drinks on the counter; the quality was impeccable. The hotel service was also impeccable!"
St John Villas Zakynthos
"Amazing facilities, beautiful gardens, gorgeous room, spacious and with a sea view, nice balcony, we loved the massage we booked, very rich breakfast buffet and kind staff, especially the waiters and maids! In our suite, we also had complimentary coffee amenities which was a very nice touch. Maka from the reception was extremely helpful and kind and although herself is not from the island, she did her best to gather information and give us the best tips for beaches worth visiting and activities that we could do!"
Caravel Suites - Adults Only
"Nora at the Aegeo spa welcomed me today for my first ever spa visit for a med body scrub and wrap and made it a very calming and relaxing experience for me, she explained everything in detail so I knew exactly what was going to happen, which I really appreciated. She made me feel very comfortable and I left feeling very energised and my skin feels absolutely great. I don’t know why it has taken me so long to do this!! Thank you so much Nora you are a credit to the company! I highly recommend having this treatment especially if you are badly sunburnt!!"
Sunrise Zante - Adults Only Hotel
"Lovely hotel, room and staff. Pool area really nice tho the pool itself was a little chilly. Lots of love to Anna and Christina ❤️❤️"
Zante View Studios & Villas
"We stopped at the Villa Zanta Athina which is part of the Zante View complex. The villa was huge and fantastic it was regularly cleaned and the pool was cleaned every morning. We only booked for a week but wished we'd booked a longer stay, our 5 year old granddaughter didn't want to come home she said it was her mansion. The family who run the complex are lovely friendly and helpful people. Would definitely go back."
Zante Pantheon Hotel
"What a wonderful family run hotel ! We had a 7 night stay in a junior suite and were absolutely delighted with our room. We had 2 balconies from which we could see the olive groves and the sea and of course had a jacuzzi ! Breakfast at the hotel was more than adequate and continually restocked. We also had lunch and dinner in some days at the hotel which was absolutely lovely. Our room was cleaned daily and towels and bedding changed frequently. Dimitri and his family were very welcoming and extremely friendly and take great pride in their hotel….we hope to return soon."
Ktima Kourou
"Our family had a lovely vacation this summer traveling Europe. We arrived in Zakynthos on a direct and quick flight from Paris. After the hustle & bustle and thousands of steps in Paris each day, we were delighted to arrive at such tranquil grounds. The moment you step into the gates of Ktima Kourou, you can see every attention to detail has been considered. The grounds themselves are gorgeous! Flowers and greenery in every direction display an eye pleasing rainbow of colours. The owners and ground keepers are on site every day making sure everything is taken care of. Each stone villa is charmingly places to create a cozy little village setting. For this second week of our vacation we met up with my husband’s immediate family; his mother, two brothers, sister, cousin and all of our teen and young adult children. We rented out all the villas on the estate and everyone was happy with their accommodations. Accommodation notes:, One recommendation I would make for the owners: The single bed mattresses could be upgraded as the kids all seemed to complain about them. We also added a cot to our children’s villa and by the end of the week my son’s back had, had enough. It was very uncomfortable. The villas were otherwise great. Kitchens: Kitchens were well stocked with all the cooking needs. Some villas don’t have full kitchens so if you are wanting that, be sure to ask for a full kitchen. Only a couple of villas have an oven and full sized fridge. Didn’t bother us because being in such a large group (22 in total), we used all kitchens when cooking and met at the beautiful picnic area which was a wonderful space to gather as a large group. I honestly can’t imagine a better setup for a large group of people. I can’t give a review on what it would be like to rent one villa as the vibe might change with other families staying in the other villas but for us it was a perfect setup and very relaxing. Pool: The pool was also beautiful and well used during our stay. It’s very clean, has a fabulous beach vibe and comfy chairs for all. Pool towels aren’t provided so bring your own or like us buy beach towels from one of the local stores. They are affordably priced. Grounds: Private and gated. There are plenty of spots on the grounds to gather and even an adorable little church. Pride of ownership is clearly displayed everywhere you look. We also enjoyed the hen with chicks on the ground. Somehow this added to the charm. The turtles were also fun to see. Location; 1.) Walking distance to a nice beach with a well ran beach restaurant. Beach seating area is on the grass with umbrellas for shade. 2.) walking distance to corner store (kids all loved the easy access to a store) 3.) a very short drive to town where you will find lots of wonderful taverns, restaurants and night life 4.) close to a doctors clinic 5.) very easy to get around the entire island if you have a car rental. We found the area just perfect. Such a welcoming & clean island. Overall Ktima K"
New Beach Hotel
"nice rooms and staff good only problem with it is people from the admiral hotel next door came to use the quiet pools what we paid extra for bloody joke kids screaming etc if we had wanted an all inclusive with loads of kids swarming round we would of booked the admiral at half the price how come they can use new beach hotel quiet pools with nothing said"
Alexandra Beach Resort & Spa
"PRO's: - incredible view over the sea - very friendly staff, Ms. Sandra , the reception manager, was very helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable - rooms are nice sized and clean - the hotel has a small shop inside, perfect if you do not wanna leave for 'peanuts' - the beach sunbeds are very comfortable and cheap - just in front of the hotel is one of the best beaches of the island , perfect for snorkeling - the Spa is nice, small and cozy with well prepared masseuses; each day they have new spa promotions CON's: - a soundproof ceiling would be recommended for the rooms under the Lounge Bar"
Caretta Paradise Resort & WaterPark
"We have just returned from.our stay at Caretta Paradise Resort & Waterpark in Tragaki. There are many things to rave about, and a few negative points too. Firstly, the resort itself is amazing, totally geared up for families with plenty of day time and evening entertainment. (Mosly by the Polish tour reps who were brilliant). You will need some.e extra Euros for the children to play in the fun village as the bouncy castles / trampolines and go karts etc are all extras. There is also a bar for the adults which serves 'proper drinks' (named spirits and beers which aren't included in thr All inclusive). The resort was well kept, clean and the water park and all the various pools were fab. We had a swim up room which I would highly recommend was great to spend i. The morning or late afternoon before getting ready to go out. (You aren't allowed to swim in any of the pools after 7pm though). These pools sre shared with your neighbours in the block but we had no problem with that. The depths were also great for our son to swim in safely and help teaching him to swim. There is a supermarket on site (however, it is expensive) compared to the ones just outside the hotel opposite the restaurant Noka. Now onto the negatives - The hotels communication was lacking, on check-in we had to wait for our room and was told to wonder, which was fine but had no idea where anything was like restaurants or bars etc.. We also never got told that you had to pre-book the al a carte restaurants at the Silver Spoon restaurant reception in the mornings, we only found this out from other guests. We found the staff generally rude and dismissive or did not understand and would shrug their shoulders at you- this was mainly down to the fact our son has a Dairy allergy and the hotel claims to accommodate, however, we really struggles during our stay to find food suitable /safe for our son to eat. So we purchased some items from the local shop and took them to breakfast for him to eat/drink (oat milk, margarine butter, jams and cereal and bread) as we couldn't even check in the restaurants as they had no signs on the food or boxes for us to check. The food is rubbish and very much the same in borh Herbs and Silver spoon. I am shocked at the lack of fresh fruit and fresh greek ingredients is not on offer. The all inclusive drinks are what we deem 'cheap pop snd spirits' not to our tastes so again often bought bits from thr local supermarket to meet our needs/tastes. You can get a taxi from the hotel to Tsillivi 1 way for 10 Euro, or pay 20 Euro to go into Zante town 1 way. The bus timetable is not very reliable unfortunately. We went to Noka to eat and the staff were great and it was all fresh and reasonably priced and great Greek traditional food. Momo was fantastic, he would say Hello to everyone and made our holiday that much better. He was recommend ding places locally and alway had a smile to welcome you, was friendly and all guests loved him! If only all "
Atlantica Eleon Grand Resort
"A 20-25 min. taxi ride from the airport, an unspoiled natural beach and located a little bit aside from the main busy tourist areas. The hilly mainland seen at a distance across the water provides beautiful ocean views. Great for those who seek relaxation. The entire hotel area breaths good vibes and soft living. Even though it's a family resort, there is no feeling of chaos at all. No morning wars over the sunbeds, and the pools never get over crowded. On the contrary, the pools are very calm and available, much thanks to the great lifeguards on site. The rooms we've seen are really great, with the option to choose a more quiet area a little bit separated from the main complex. Very efficient air-condition provides fast cooling of the room when getting back from daily activities. It's not often you see such clean rooms day after day. Great work by the cleaning staff. I'd say me and my family got great value for our money in many ways. This is just what we were hoping for when we made the reservation some months ago. The hotel offers lots of activities, from early morning to late evening. Highly skilld artists and so on. Perhaps the sound level around the pool gets a little high during mid-day, but the area is large, so if you want silence there's alot to choose from. And about the service... I've experienced high level hotel service before, but nothing like this. Let me give an example: For this trip me and my family did'nt choose the "room with a seaview" option. Mostly to save some on the booking fee. However, after having seen what a seaview-room means at this hotel (spectacular), we regretted our choise. So we contacted the reception desk, and asked if it perhaps was possible to change rooms to a seaview one, if we just pay for the upgrade. About a day later they found a way to help us, even though it was right in the middle of high season. And guess what, they did'nt even let us pay for the upgrade. They said they just wanted our trip to be the best possible, while they moved all our stuff between the rooms for us. How great is that? In general, all the staff were very polite, helpful and always with a smile on their faces. As I wrote above, this sure was something out of the ordinary if you ask me."
