"entrance to the hotel is not clear, the parking space is not paved (it was raining and due that our suitcases and shoes have been totally dirty) room was good and big. shower was not cleaned neatly. the pool is okay the breakfast is like the other comments say. it’s in the cellar, you don’t feel welcome there and it’s not comfy, coffee was good"

"We visited this lovely establishment for a wedding. The location is a little isolated and there were no taxis in the nearby town of Asciano and getting there was a problem. Once there one could not be charmed by this old village which is now a hotel/wedding venue. The standard of the accommodation is second to none and the staff were fantastic. You did not notice the staff but they were there in the background ready to assist when needed. The wedding itself was fantastic and even though rain threatened the hotel met this challenge with good grace and alacrity when dinner had to be moved indoors. May I say the canopes were the best I have ever been served as we waited for dinner - which for a wedding meal was far better than I been served in Britain. Well done Borgo Casablanca you were great!"

"A most unusual arrangement. The owners are Canadians who live in New York and established the group of apartments in the past five years to accommodate an annual gathering of artists. Everything is finished to the highest quality and the managers are attentive and helpful. From the moment you check-in you are made welcome and your needs are cared for in full. There’s a swimming pool to share with the fluffiest bathing towels, sunbeds and swimming caps. A bar serves coffee and snacks so you don’t need to cook in the fully fitted kitchens. The Osteria del pozzo is also part of the complex so discounts on lunch or dinner. Absolutely recommended for a comfortable luxurious stay in a charming hilltop village."

Additionally, a laundry facility was readily accessible. Ms. Christina, the manager, provided outstanding support throughout our stay, ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. Our party of eight was accommodated in three adjacent rooms, and the arrangements were seamless. Ms. Christina also arranged a thoughtful birthday surprise.
