Ibis Budget Castelnaudary - A61
"The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable."
Hôtel le Donjon - Cœur de La Cité Médiévale
"Very friendly. Quiet at night. Breakfast and the kitchen manager were great."
Zenitude Hôtel-Résidences Narbonne Centre
"Very spacious and comfortable studio hotel. It has a separate kitchen area and jug bathroom. The room was spacious too and the bed very comfortable. I’d stay there again! Staff were super helpful too."
Hotel la Chaumière
"Sadly a rather poor show this evening. Slow service, actually very slow, but due not to the young lady serving, but due to her being left alone to serve about 30 covers, food and drinks 😡. The mains were quite nice, but the cheese platter? Two microscopic pieces of cheese, one of which had certainly seen better days, and no bread until requested, twice! Shall we return, I think not 🤣"
Zenitude Hôtel-Résidences Carcassonne
"It does not correspond to the stars it has and the internet signal is very bad."
SOWELL HOTELS Les Chevaliers
"The hotel is in a very good location, with a view of the ancient castle. The front desk service is friendly, the room facilities are also OK, and the breakfast is also good. The town is relatively quiet at night. A good travel experience."
Premiere Classe Carcassonne
"Hello, the room was very good, good 3 beds I admit that during my reservation it was the last free room. A quick note about the bathroom, lack of hooks for gloves and when I took my shower, despite the door being closed, the water invaded part of the room. For breakfast, some pastries would have been appreciated. Orange juice a delight and coffee side excellent Otherwise the welcome at reception is really very warm and welcoming. Thanks to the team."
O'Bonheur de Hamma
"Privatized moment in family. Great frame, innocuous cleanliness. There is room for being or nothing missing, jacuzzi, swimming pool, hammam, sauna ... Heads, gloves, towels, cream ... all is provided. The most exceptionally a meal provided by our guests, quality, careful and just delicious presentation. Agnes and Tiff are just great guests, both professionally and humanly. The location is in their image, PARFACH! We strongly recommend it. Get you a moment out of time in this idyllical space or everything is done in detail. Thanks yet. Lili and Greg"
Ibis Styles Castelnaudary
"The room was spacious and we took advantage of the pool. Abundant and varied breakfast. We had dinner in the restaurant and the service was a little slow because it was full but the food was good."

Cit'Hotel des 2 Golfs

"The owner is very friendly, excellent welcome. I recommend the place."
Suite 28
Chateau L Hospitalet Wine Resort and Spa
"We chose to stay here due to its proximity to Les Grands Buffets, where we had a reservation. It is, to my understanding, the only five-star hotel in Narbonne, which raised our expectations. Unfortunately, the experience fell well below that standard. On arrival, we were immediately directed towards wine experiences. When I explained that I am pregnant and therefore unable to drink, this was repeatedly overlooked and wine tasting was still encouraged. I appreciate this is a wine-focused resort (booked prior to knowing I was pregnant), but it felt as though anything I said was not listened to. The hotel is also extremely isolated, with no nearby dining options within several miles. We arrived at 2:30pm to find the restaurant closed, and there were no suitable food options available at the bar for someone with pregnancy restrictions. They were only able to provide me stale bread and butter, which was not acceptable for a hotel of this standard. Our suite, while spacious, was located in a separate outbuilding and felt very isolated. Access required navigating an uneven stone staircase, which felt unsafe - particularly during pregnancy - and I needed assistance each time to avoid tripping. Upon entering the room, the doors had been left wide open despite the area being rife with mosquitoes (in April!). As a result, the room was filled with them (which we had to manually kill) and I sustained multiple bites. When we asked reception for basic medical items such as antihistamine or bite cream, none were available, meaning we now have to arrange transport to the nearest pharmacy over 6 miles away. The pool area was also disappointing, appearing unclean and poorly maintained, which made it unusable. Basic in-room amenities were lacking, including the absence of a full-length wardrobe suitable for dresses or suits. Breakfast service was similarly underwhelming. We were told room service was available, but when we ordered, we were informed that proper coffee (e.g. cappuccino) was not provided and that we should instead use the in-room Nespresso machine. For a five-star hotel, this is simply not acceptable - particularly when the quality of the coffee was, as expected, poor. We were not provided plates and there was no table/chairs to eat the food from, so we had to eat from a shelf in our room. Overall, this stay did not reflect a five-star experience in either service, facilities, or attention to guest needs. I would not return, nor would I recommend it."
Domaine de Fraisse
"From the moment the Domaine reveals itself from the road you feel chilled and ready to relax. The hosts are super accommodating and let you find your best place, with the charming rustic restaurant and living spaces they have created, we could ask for nothing more. For those who might look for more than lounging on the splendid terrasse, shaded under the magnificent mulberry trees, the estate offers walks and time with horses, donkeys and wildlife, including the chance to ride or interact with the horses at the equestrian centre. All this and they are located a short drive south of Carcassonne and they can even arrange golf at local courses. How lucky we were to discover the Domaine de Fraisse. Our only regret was not staying longer."
Hôtel Mercure Carcassonne la Cité
"The hotel is in a good location, has a parking lot 🅿️, and is very close to the castle, only a 5-minute walk away. The room facilities are relatively new, and the bed and bedding are very comfortable. The room is small and there is no place to put boxes. The breakfast is good, with a wide variety of bread, desserts, jams, fruits, meats, and juice drinks. The downside is that there are no vegetables. The hotel has a nice small environment, with gardens and swimming pools. Disadvantages: There is sewage flowing across the entrance of the hotel, and it smells like sour swill. It is disgusting to step in dirty water when walking back to the hotel."
Hotel Pont Levis - Franck Putelat
"Absolutely appalled by the rude, sarcastic male front of house servant. I had just completed the train tour with my little girl, who was desperate for the toilet when the train stopped outside the hotel. She is only little. I politely asked in French if she could please use the toilets to be told in English, this is a hotel madam not a public toilet. Obviously I’m aware of that but who would treat a little girl so cruelly and take pains to humiliate in the process. I would avoid this hotel at all costs if this is their character and attitude"
Les 2 Drôles d'Oiseaux
Hôtel de la Cité Carcassonne - MGallery Collection
"A fantastic Michelin-starred restaurant, the rooms are stylish, and the public spaces are decorated in a classic and sophisticated style, right in the middle of a castle."
Hôtel Montmorency & Spa
"We stayed at this hotel for one night, Bastille Day. The room was very nice, albeit the bathroom was small. The pool was great to cool down at and the bar service was excellent, with views of the castle walls. Many people watched the spectacular fireworks from here."
Hotel du Chateau et Spa Carita
"Right next to the Navarre gateway. The location cannot be beaten. Well laid out and organised for visitors to the Citadel. Breakfasts had lots of locally produced items."
Kyriad Carcassonne - AÉROPORT
"Great budget hotel, and they even have pool, though we didn’t use it. Conveniently located just off the roadway and near shops, supermarkets and petrol station, but quiet nevertheless. The staff were very friendly and kind. We had air conditioning issues with our room on the second night and they immediately changed our room. Breakfast was good. It’s the second time we stayed here. We will come again when in the area."
Tribe Carcassonne
"The corner room has a weird toilet; you can barely fit in it. A refrigerator would be nice. Otherwise, everything is great."
Chateau des Ducs de Joyeuse, BW Signature Collection
"A magnificent property (castle), with a great pool where you can relax. The rooms are a bit dated, but the bed is comfortable. The bathroom, toilet (smell!), and shower are great; the service/reception could be friendlier. Parking costs €15.00, and there's nothing going on in the village."
Ibis Budget Carcassonne la Cité
"With 20 minutes walk you reach the Middle Ages City is not very close but it's okay more has a large parking discovered with electric gate where I stayed my bike"
Ibis Styles Carcassonne la Cité
"Hotel located in an excellent position for visiting the medieval city."
