"Extremely satisfied! I booked my stay on ***** New Year's Eve quite early. Originally, the owner wasn't planning on operating and wanted to close for the holiday, but they still accepted our booking and hosted us. We arrived around 8 or 9 PM that evening, and the owner was waiting for us and even presented us with a blessed Hada (******* ceremonial scarf). Before arriving, I called ahead to ask if dinner was available. The owner's chef was on holiday, so they arranged for the restaurant next door to wait for us, where we had a delicious clear yak meat hot pot.
The hotel room's overall decor is in the ******* style, which my parents loved, and the price during the Chinese New Year period was very reasonable. Breakfast was prepared by the owner and his wife. They even asked about our planned departure time so they could get up and wait for us. The dumplings š„ were delicious, and the owner's wife thoughtfully gave a small red envelope š§§ to the child. So considerate! Thumbs up! šš»šš»šš»"

"We stayed at the Heishui and Siguniang Mountain resorts for three days and absolutely loved the butler service at Gar Manor! From the moment we got off the bus, we were completely taken care of. The butler eagerly carried our luggage and checked us in, making it incredibly easy.
The breakfast was plentiful, with a mix of whole grains and protein. The warm black pig's trotters and stir-fried pork in the evening were a thoughtful touch. The most touching thing was that the butler even brought us an umbrella on a rainy day, holding it for us along the way and providing hot tea. These little touches are truly heartwarming!
The mountain-view loft we stayed in at Siguniang Mountain had a fantastic view, with both floors offering views of the lake and mountains. On a clear day, the lake sparkled like diamonds, while on a rainy day, the misty clouds shrouded the place like a fairyland. It truly soothed me here and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Siguniang Mountain!"

"Our trip to Heishui with my partner was completely healed by the Norsky Guesthouse! The location is amazing, close to Dagu Glacier, so we could catch up on sleep after watching the sunrise. The room was simple and cozy, with a small sofa perfect for couples to snuggle up and gaze at the snow-capped mountains. The morning sunlight streaming in created a wonderful atmosphere. The owner is very romantic, discreetly providing clean cushions and small refreshments. The breakfast was exquisite and comforting, with fresh ingredients in the ******* hot pot, and tender yak meat ā enough to fill us up and at a great price. During our chat, the owner recommended some less crowded, scenic hiking routes, where we took tons of amazing couple photos. The service was attentive and unobtrusive, and the environment was quiet and comfortable. Choosing this place for a couple's trip was a dream come true, and we'll definitely come back!"

"This is my first review, and it's completely honest. This is the best hotel I've stayed at during my travels here. The front desk lady was incredibly enthusiastic; whenever I had a problem, I liked to go to her, and she always helped. It was a very satisfying stay. The lobby is spacious, the environment is great, the front desk service is excellent, and check-in was fast. The room facilities are complete, the bed is very comfortable, and the room has smart controls. They even offered a free late check-out, which was really nice. It's a fantastic hotel. They also gave a free bottle of mineral water upon check-in. The room is spacious, well-lit, bright, and fully equipped. The front desk service is exceptional, and breakfast is also great. There's free parking, and it's very convenient for getting around. Highly recommend!"

"Hygiene: Very clean, and they even provide disinfectant alcohol (Picture 3), which is great for germaphobes! The tissues are also from C&S.
Environment: There are many guesthouses nearby, all run by locals, offering a very authentic local experience.
Facilities: We drove here. If you need to charge your car, you can do so at a fish restaurant next door. You can also cast movies from your phone to the TV in the room.
Service: You can book tickets for Dagu Glacier through the host, which is slightly cheaper than booking yourself. They also prepare their own breakfast, which includes butter tea and is quite unique.
If you're looking for places to eat, I recommend the Hade Plaza in Heishui County, as there are more options there. We tried a ******* restaurant called Xiangnage, and the food was pretty good."

"My friend has been recommending this hotel to me since he came here last year. After experiencing it, I feel that it is indeed worthy of its reputation! It has been open for four or five years. The facilities and equipment of the ******* house are well maintained. The beds in the room are very soft and comfortable, and the sanitary environment of the entire manor is also very good.
The service of the housekeeper and the restaurant is even better. The most comfortable thing is that when you meet the hotel staff on the road, they will greet you warmly, and you really feel at home.

"This was my second visit to Yangrong Harde, the first being four years ago in September. Back then, the entire village was packed with cars, and we had to queue for meals due to the crowds. Still, the beautiful scenery and warm-hearted villagers left a wonderful impression on me.
This time, we originally planned to go to Mount Siguniang, but a friend in our group suffered from severe altitude sickness. So, on a whim, we decided to change course and brought them to Yangrong Harde instead. It was off-season, so there were noticeably fewer tourists. When we arrived at the visitor service center, it was just our group of six. However, the young man at the front desk was just as enthusiastic and genuinely kind as ever. He told us that since it was the off-season, he'd upgrade us to the three best room types, assuring us that even though it wasn't the most beautiful season, we'd still have a great time.
Within minutes of completing the paperwork, the housekeeper arrived at the service center to take us to our rooms. And boy, did the rooms surprise us! This was a true, legitimate free upgrade, completely different from the so-called 'upgrades' at other hotels š. It felt like at least five levels up, absolutely full of sincerity. The housekeeper, a lovely auntie, was also incredibly warm and a stickler for cleanliness. She was constantly bustling around for us, making us feel truly comfortable and warm, just like being at home.
In the evening, as we strolled around the village, friendly villagers would actively greet us all along the way! This trip was a bit chaotic due to my friend's discomfort, but the hospitality at Yangrong Harde gave us immense warmth. Our group of six was extremely satisfied š. A big shout-out to Yangrong Harde's service! We hope you continue to improve and gain more attention and positive reviews from tourists. We will definitely be back!"

"Before coming, I looked at several guesthouses in Heishui County and finally chose this one. Both the environment and service were great! It's very close to the scenic area, and the owner arranged for someone to pick us up and drop us off. We loved the style of our roomāit was spacious, bright, comfortable, and clean. The air conditioning was adjustable and provided warmth, so we didn't feel cold at night! It was super cozy! It's a whole guesthouse with its own courtyard, and the owner was very welcomingāthey even helped us with our luggage! So thoughtful! I'd definitely book this guesthouse again next time I come back. "Upon checking in, I realized Gar Manor is located on a hilltop across the national highway from Yangrong Village, giving it a secluded feel. It comprises three hotels: Gar Manor, Huazhu She, and Starry City, all sharing a common check-in lobby and breakfast restaurant. Starry City is at the highest elevation with the best views, but the drive up involves very steep winding roads. The worst part was the daily ascent back to the room after meals, a 5-7 minute uphill climb on steps at an altitude of 3000 meters.
I stayed in early November, by which time the colorful forests had lost their vibrant hues, and stratocumulus fog is rare in autumn, so the scenery was average and not particularly stunning. The hotel's facilities are quite good for a ******* area, but the management is too casual, not formal or serious enough, and the hygiene needs improvement. Breakfast had too few options and surprisingly no fruit, which doesn't justify the hotel's price.
Finally, the road to the hotel from the national highway involves about 5 kilometers of mountain road with many sharp and steep turns. Although the road surface is well-paved, new drivers should be cautious, and driving at night is quite thrilling and not recommended. Lastly, the quality and variety of the hotel's dining options need to be improved. The high prices are understandable given the high and remote location, but the food's lack of flavor doesn't live up to the cost or the image of a high-end hotel."
