"The male receptionist was incredibly enthusiastic and proactively helped with our luggage and directed us to parking. They have their own private courtyard, which made parking very convenient. He was always ready to assist and even anticipated our needs, preparing things in advance – highly commendable! The hygiene was excellent; you can tell they put a lot of effort into creating a guesthouse with unique charm. I highly recommend it!"

"We stayed at the Heishui and Siguniang Mountain resorts for three days and absolutely loved the butler service at Gar Manor! From the moment we got off the bus, we were completely taken care of. The butler eagerly carried our luggage and checked us in, making it incredibly easy. The breakfast was plentiful, with a mix of whole grains and protein. The warm black pig's trotters and stir-fried pork in the evening were a thoughtful touch. The most touching thing was that the butler even brought us an umbrella on a rainy day, holding it for us along the way and providing hot tea. These little touches are truly heartwarming! The mountain-view loft we stayed in at Siguniang Mountain had a fantastic view, with both floors offering views of the lake and mountains. On a clear day, the lake sparkled like diamonds, while on a rainy day, the misty clouds shrouded the place like a fairyland. It truly soothed me here and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Siguniang Mountain!"

"Exceeded expectations! For a B&B priced over 400, the room was incredibly spacious with a double sofa and a large TV. It also had a big balcony with a lounge chair, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a bathroom with a separate wet and dry area. The air conditioning was powerful, soundproofing was excellent, and the blackout curtains worked very well. They even provided bathrobes and a humidifier. The owner was also very hospitable, taking us to crack walnuts, helping with our luggage, and checking in on us. The colorful forests of Heishui are stunning and would be even more beautiful with good weather. My only minor complaints would be that the hot water pressure was a bit low, and the location isn't as deep into the colorful forest area as it could be. If it were closer to the core colorful forest zone, the window view might be like a painting. Still, highly recommended. This was the most satisfying hotel of our trip."

"I originally wanted to leave a review the night I checked in, but I couldn't find the time until after I checked out. First of all, the owner was incredibly welcoming and the service was excellent. The room was spacious, very clean, and the facilities were top-notch. Secondly, the food was more than enough for two people for just over 100 yuan, and the dishes were delicious, featuring local specialties. The yak hot pot soup is a must-try; it's incredibly flavorful. Finally, I wish the owner great success in their business! I would definitely stay at their hotel again if I came back."

"The hotel is located on the outskirts of the county town, so it's very quiet. The room facilities are quite complete; the shower room has a heater, and disposable toilet seat covers are provided. The bedding is comfortable, and the front desk service is very good. The downsides are that breakfast is very simple, the bowls and chopsticks aren't sanitized, the soy milk is very watery, and the shower pressure is very low – maybe the showerhead is clogged."

"The hotel is run by a family. The daughter can speak English so she helped us with all our needs. She also booked the tickets to Dagu Glacier for us. This hotel has a restaurant and you can ask for non spicy food which my daughters appreciated. The location is very near the glacier around 5 minutes from the hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds are big enough to fit 2 small people."

"Our stay at this hotel near Dagu Glacier was amazing. It’s close to the entrance, which made our trip so convenient. The room was beautiful, very clean, and we even had a mountain view right outside. The toilet was automatic, which was a nice surprise. I requested a halal breakfast since we are Muslims, and they kindly granted our request. I even thought there was no TV — turns out it was a projector, and I was so amazed! 😁 Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.💯👍🏻🫶🏻"

"This hotel has the best service ever. The staffs are so alert with the complaint and quickly did the best to solve it. The heater in my room was not functioning then they gave us free room upgrade as soon as possible. They were so nice and friendly to my whole family. "This self-driving trip to Dagu Glacier in Western Sichuan was made even better by our stay at Heishui Jiruo Mountain Villa – the most worry-free and comfortable accommodation of the entire trip! The villa boasts an excellent location, only about 1 kilometer from the Dagu Glacier scenic area. The owner even provides free shuttle service, saving you from early morning rushes, which is incredibly convenient for glacier visitors. Located next to the Qicai Jiazu ******* Village, the environment is quiet and beautiful, with a strong ******* style. The courtyard is clean and tidy, the air is fresh, and you can see the starry sky and mountain views at dawn and dusk – a truly immersive experience. Parking is super convenient, with a free, spacious parking lot and charging stations, making electric vehicle travel hassle-free. The rooms are spacious, clean, and odor-free. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the mattress is just the right firmness – a good night's sleep relieves the fatigue of the drive. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, plenty of hot water, and complete toiletries. The cleaning is meticulous, with every corner spotless. The rooms have good natural light, great views, and good soundproofing, making them exceptionally quiet at night, ensuring a high quality of rest. The accommodation combines the unique charm of the Jiarong ******* culture with the comforts of modern accommodations, making for a safe and pleasant stay. The owners and their family are warm and welcoming, providing exceptionally attentive service. Check-in is efficient, they proactively help with luggage, and patiently explain travel tips for Dagu Glacier, altitude sickness precautions, and even help you buy discounted park tickets. Any problems are resolved promptly, making you feel like family. The dining experience is a pleasant surprise! The yak hot pot and Tibetan-style earthenware hot pot are generously portioned, incredibly delicious, and made with fresh ingredients, offering authentic local flavors. The butter tea and homemade yogurt are also fantastic. The breakfast is plentiful and tasty, with excellent ******* flatbread, porridge, and pickled vegetables – a satisfying and hearty meal. It's conveniently located near attractions like Naizigou and Qicaijiazu, making travel easy. Overall, the location is excellent, the service is warm, the rooms are clean, the food is delicious, and parking is convenient, making it incredibly cost-effective. It's perfect for family trips, groups of friends, or photography tours. Staying here at Dagu Glacier is definitely a great choice, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Heishui. I highly recommend it to everyone visiting Western Sichuan!"
