"When I arrived, there was no receptionist or staff to do check in procedure, I needed to wait at least 30 minutes, then call the neighbourgh restaurant phone the receptionists, look like she had just take a snap after lunch, no sorry, no smile, she just did like a machine. There is no air conditioner (like Trip inform from beginning), only heating along the lobby of hotel. Receptionist almost did not know anything about other scenic (except Dagu Glacier and 2 places in Heishui), when I asked her about other scenic in neighbourg county, she said she did not know any thing about this. When she booked me 2 tickets to Dagu Glacier, she had not provided any information how to get ticket, until I asked her in the next morning. I changed hotel after 1 night"

We eventually chose to stay at Heishui Gaduo Manor Homestay. Additionally, Trip.com compensated us with coins for future discounts, demonstrating genuine care for their customers. What started as a disruption turned into a surprisingly positive experience—thanks to efficient problem-solving and a warm, comfortable new stay. Unexpected moments can become meaningful highlights—when you have the right travel partner like Trip.com by your side. Following the unexpected change of plans, we stayed at Heishui Gaduo Manor Homestay, and it turned out to be a genuinely heartwarming experience. Although the staff did not speak English, their willingness to help was evident in every interaction. Through gestures, smiles, and sincere effort, they made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. As we were preparing to visit Dagu Glacier Scenic Area, we purchased instant noodles and additional canned oxygen from the property, just to be safe for the high altitude. The prices were fair and reasonable, with no sense of overcharging. What stood out the most was the genuine hospitality—proving that meaningful service goes beyond language. True hospitality isn’t defined by words, but by the sincerity and care you feel along the journey."

I asked around, and found out that most of the staff are locals, and the service was far more attentive and thoughtful than expected. It really shows the excellent training and management of the hotel! The hotel is a converted old village, and the exterior walls have a very original charm. There's also an art gallery inside the hotel, which houses a collection of antiques and artists' works, including a comprehensive collection of rubbings. I absolutely loved it! Anyone interested in western Sichuan media and culture shouldn't miss this place."
