"Traveling with family, the guesthouse is located not far from the main gate of the village, which is also the starting point for exploring the village. It's especially beautiful at night when the lights are on. Outside the village gate is a square, and you can even watch performances from the guesthouse upstairs, perfect if you want to avoid the crowds. There's a small river in front, and the flowers in the courtyard are exceptionally vibrant. The owner also has an adorable 8-month-old dog. The room itself is clean and tidy, and the owner is incredibly kind, offering tips on what to do and recommending great food. We had a wonderful trip overall."

"The rooms were spotless, and the butler service throughout our stay was incredibly thoughtful. What really blew us away were several things: ① **Personalized Butler Transfers**: We didn't have to handle our luggage at all. The complimentary high-speed train pick-up and drop-off, even for our group of four, was in a comfortable business van. ② **Excellent Food & Drink**: The afternoon tea was incredibly generous, and the breakfast was of high quality. ③ **Unique & Abundant Beverages**: There were about eight or nine different drinks available. We could enjoy unlimited refreshments just by visiting the front desk. Every time we returned, the staff thoughtfully asked if we'd like anything to drink. They even offered unique glutinous rice wine and Cili juice. ④ **Attentive & Warm Service**: The butlers were incredibly welcoming upon check-in, check-out, and whenever we returned. They’d greet us with phrases like ”Have a pleasant journey,” ”Enjoy your stay,” and ”Have fun!” They were also proactive in answering our questions about getting around and providing recommendations. ⑤ **Superb Room Comfort**: This is arguably the most crucial aspect of a hotel stay, and we were truly surprised by how comfortable our room was. The views were great, it was clean and tidy, and all the amenities provided were high-end. From Dyson hairdryers to toothbrushes, cotton swabs, and bath towels, everything was of excellent quality and very effective. ⑥ **Engaging Evening Entertainment**: The complimentary folk song performance at 8:30 PM was fantastic. It was wonderful to see people from all walks of life come together to enjoy the distinctive local melodies. Thank you, Biyin, for all the services provided during our trip. It's like the ”Haidilao” of guesthouses – full of unique character, great ambiance, and exceptional service. It even surpasses the best in the service industry, like Macau, leaving a lasting impression. We'd repurchase without hesitation! If you're visiting Zhaoxing Dong Village, this is a no-brainer."

"Facilities: The facilities are new and complete, as it's a newly opened establishment. The interior decoration is excellent, very clean, and beautiful. The bed is super comfortable; it's not overly soft like some hotel beds, but a very pleasant mattress. There's also a smart toilet, TV, hairdryer, etc., making it very convenient. Cleanliness: It's very clean. The ground floor has a spacious and bright lobby with modern decor. The rooms feature large floor-to-ceiling windows with beautiful views of the rice paddies. Both the room and bathroom are spotless, with no unpleasant odors, which made our stay feel very secure. Environment: Located in Shangzhai, the environment is very peaceful and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the village center. We slept wonderfully at night. Plus, the room windows are soundproof; once closed, you can't even hear the rain outside, which is truly commendable 👍. I think staying here is better than other B&Bs in different locations, and it's also closer to the Tang'an Terraces. Excellent. Service: Compared to the facilities, cleanliness, and environment, the service is the most praiseworthy! They provided timely pick-up and drop-off at the high-speed rail station, helped with our luggage, and offered complimentary coffee and water. Any issues were promptly resolved by the front desk staff. The owner was also very accommodating. When leaving, knowing we hadn't visited the viewpoint, he even offered us a ride up to take photos. Overall, my family and I were very satisfied with this B&B booking! If we have a chance to visit again in the future, we will definitely book here again! Highly recommended!"

"My friends and I took a weekend trip to Zhaoxing Dong Village for two days and one night! I have to commend my blind choice of Yunshang·Shanyu Panorama Hotel this time! It's practically 'nanny-style service'! The night before our departure, the owner proactively contacted me to ask for our arrival time the next day and arranged for a driver to pick us up. When we arrived the next day, the driver immediately started his enthusiastic service. Instead of rushing straight to the hotel, he drove us around, meticulously introducing the local culture, customs, delicious food, and what activities were available. He even stopped at the Drum Tower so we could get out and listen to the Dong people's traditional songs. Since it was the off-season when we visited, the owner very kindly upgraded us to the 305 panoramic view room for free. The service attitude was exceptionally good! The hotel is very clean, the facilities are new, and the view from the window is beautiful, perfect for sisters who love taking photos, haha. The night before our departure, they also proactively contacted me again to ask for our departure time. The butler-style service is simply amazing! I'll definitely choose them again next time I visit."

"The location of this hotel is good, it’s near the the bus stop to take the free shuttle bus to Tang an terrace fields. The hotel owner or person who received us was super friendly. She helped one of us with our luggage and gave us a full plate of fruits when we arrived. The hotel person was so nice, we told her that we have quite alot of Taobao parcels and she helped us with our Taobao parcels, and all of it arrived on time to the hotel. The view of the room was so good and comfortable, it was a pity that we only stayed for one night. The breakfast was also delicious. Highly highly recommend this hotel!"

"Cons: - stained towels and bed linen (I wouldn't care, but this hotel is 4 times more expensive than cheap hostels I usually stay in China, so I expect more) - I found a big spider the size of a hand in my room (but to be honest: I don't blame the owners for that because the spider could just come from the window, so it's not their fault) - the staff doesn't speak English Pros: - It is the cheapest hotel with license to give an accommodation for foreigners in Zhaoxing. - The receptionist came to my room immediately after my call in his free time and killed that spider I was talking about above. He is my hero! :) - Apart of stained towels and bed linen the room was cleaner than other rooms in other hostels I stayed in China. - The hotel has a good location just next to the town's gate. - I have got a bottle of water for free and all toiletries."

"The Creekside Inn has modern, elegantly designed rooms (I can’t emphasize that enough), a very good location with beautiful views, and a friendly, capable staff, that truly goes out of its way to be helpful— all of this at quite favorable prices. The water is hot and the bed is heated for winter in the mountains. I stayed four days, and would’ve stayed longer had I had time, just because I felt so wonderfully at home there. I left with plans to return with my wife next year. English spoken. Oh，and I got a splendid breakfast tailored to my individual dietary requirements! I have visited 35 countries and traveled all over China, and I have never been happier with my accommodations anywhere!"

"I loved this place so much that I stayed 5 nights. Yang the owner speaks perfect English. I rang the day before and he was waiting at the train station with my name on a sign. He helped me organise the entrance fee. Mine was free as I'm 73 years old, even though I am a foreigner. I am travelling on my own from New Zealand. The train station pick up was free and very useful. If you take the bus it's a long way from the ticket office and bus stop into the village. Yang then transferred me into his smaller vehicle to go up the little lane to the hotel. The hotel is 5 minutes walk into the village and has a great view of the village.. It is quiet as it's a little bit away from the busy centre. The room was perfect. Everything new and very clean. And no smells. The bed was extremely comfortable with good quality bedding. I used the washing machine in the room to wash my clothes. There was tea and coffee provided. Yang took me on a full day trip to see some other local villages that have no tourists. We walked around the villages together. It was fantastic to have an English guide to explain everything. We saw people making rice wine, making indigo dye, building a house using traditional techniques. We saw a fighting buffalo. Yang chatted to the people and explained what they were doing. This was the best time I have had in China. He was a good careful driver. The breakfast was huge! So many dishes, including fruit. Yang was always available to help me with any questions and we had good talks every morning when he helped me plan my activities."

"I rarely book a homestay, but the homestay I stayed in this time gave me too many surprises. Good service: car pick-up, help carry boxes, responsive, very good communication.
