"This hotel in Granada is truly charming and rustic. Tucked away in a narrow alley, walking on the cobblestone streets felt like stepping back into medieval Spain. The chandeliers in the lobby, the antique cabinets, and the paintings on the walls all whispered tales of times gone by. The hotel's ambiance gave us a taste of old-world European elegance. The room size was perfectly adequate; we could easily open two suitcases. The small balcony with its floor-to-ceiling window allowed the sunlight to stream in, and the white curtains gently swayed in the breeze, adding a touch of sophistication. Although the bathroom had a bathtub and the facilities felt a bit dated, experiencing such a distinctly European hotel made these minor imperfections fade into the background. Being close to the street, there could be some noise, but earplugs easily solved that. The only thing I found a bit unusual was that the duvet insert was placed between two sheets. I heard many hotels in Europe do this; I even encountered this bedding style in a 5-star hotel in Barcelona. Despite these small quirks, I still fondly remember this historic hotel."

"This is a beautiful old hotel in the centre of Granada. The entrance and public areas are decorated with the traditional colourful tiles of the region. My room was a small single in the interior of the building. It was basic but very cosy. The bathroom was large and even had a bath. The area is perfect with lots of restaurants and bars and it is just across the road from the cathedral and an easy bus ride or uphill walk to either the Alhambra or the Albaicin area."

"I stayed in a room on the first floor near the front desk. I read the reviews before booking and expected the small size and noise, but the smell from the drain was so bad that it woke me up several times during the night. For the last night of my three-night stay, I was changed to a room on the second floor, so the smell was gone. If location is your only priority, this is a good hotel."

Great
SSandyduuuWe loved the apartment in the heart of Granada's Old Town; the decor was lovely, the facilities were new, and parking was conveniently located nearby in their own private parking space. We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming blonde woman who followed us to the parking lot, concerned about parking. She also provided a very detailed explanation of the room. The location was excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the cathedral and not far from the Alhambra Palace, which we walked to.
MMartinaSalWhen I arrived the AC was broken and at the check in the staff didn’t mention it.
It has been broken for 4 days (as you can also read from other reviews). We had to sleep with 30 degrees in our room. Just crazy.
If they told me right at the check in I would have looked for another hostel.
Besides that:
Pros: hostel is clean, new and the location is good.
Cons: besides few people (there’s a Brazilian receptionist very nice) the staff is not really attentive to people that come in and out. So when you leave your bag in the storage room, is not really safe. (The lockers system is also broken right now). For example I just came in and took back my bags and nobody even realized it. I think this is something that could easily be improved.
GGuest UserIf you don’t want to ruin your mood during your trip, don’t stay here.
I chose several Meliá hotels during my Spain trip to experience a trusted Spanish brand. But after staying here, I canceled all my other Meliá bookings. The reason was simple — the reception was shockingly rude, especially a staff member named Elda.
Everything else about the hotel was fine. The rooms were clean, the lounge was great, and the location was convenient. But the reception completely ruined the experience.
Elda never greeted me. She didn’t confirm my booking details or explain anything about the room or hotel services. The first thing she said was that I needed to provide another credit card if I wanted to check in. Only after I asked did she mention it was for a deposit.
Afterward, I checked Google reviews and saw that this issue has been mentioned for years, yet nothing has changed. It’s disappointing because all other staff members were kind and professional — except the reception.

Pros
• Modern, newly renovated rooms
• Great lounge with nice views, food, and service
• Within walking distance of main attractions
• Close to the airport bus stop
Cons
• Rude and unwelcoming reception staff
• Poor soundproofing — earplugs recommended at night
GGuest UserWe were a party of three, staying in a room with two single beds and a sofa bed. The cleanliness was acceptable. There's a large supermarket about a 5-minute walk away where we had dinner, and the prices were fair. Right next to the hotel, about a 3-minute walk, there's a bus stop for the bus to Granada Airport, which costs €3.1 per person. You can take bus route 32 to the Alhambra. Walking to the Cathedral takes about 15-20 minutes. Overall, the transportation is convenient. This was the cheapest hotel I stayed at in Spain and offered the best value for money. There's also a restaurant right next to the hotel with delicious food.
GGuest UserGreat location, only a 7-8 minute walk to the Alhambra. The restaurant also has beautiful views and the hotel has an Arabian feel to it. However, the hotel is a bit old and the facilities are showing their age. The restaurant staff were very friendly, but the front desk seemed a bit indifferent, possibly due to a high number of guests checking in.
YYOUFANGCtrip's hotel was very convenient. It didn't realize the plan. Because the itinerary changed, the hotel that was found on Ctrip and booking on the same day, compared with Ctrip, the price is good, and it is clearer than booking.
GGuest UserThe beds are clean, new with the building, bright and comfortable with lighting. However, there are no towels and no hair dryers. The front desk closes at 21:00. Toilet paper was not replenished until morning. But the price is cheap, so it's good.
WWalt from LAIt is near the Alhambra. So it is convenient for getting to the Alhambra’s front gate, but not very convenient otherwise. Depending on the time of day, it might be hard to get something to eat in that area. It was easy enough to get a taxi or a bus to take you into town and back, though. The room had a great big bed, AC worked well. The toilet took getting used to. We wanted the room for the convenience to the Alhambra and the terrace, but it was too hot to get much use of the terrace. There was no laundromat or laundry service in the hotel despite being listed on the amenities in Trip.
GGuest UserThis Aparthotel was in an absolutely perfect location and easily accessible to the main sites of Granada. The communication with the customer support was excellent and it was easy to check in and out or get an early check in for an additional cost. The app was really useful as I could check in that way and had a note of my entrance key in case I forgot the number. The facilities, cleanliness and little extras provided such as water, coffee and crisps were really appreciated after a day of travel. The studio I was in was absolutely gorgeous, modern, clean and whilst in the centre of the town, quiet, so I could get a good night's sleep. The only thing that was a slight disappointment was that I booked the apartment thinking I would be getting a view of the town/square, but I did have balcony views over the balconies and into the apartments of the identical building directly in front of me. So, no view to speak of, but I didn't spend much time in the apartment as there was plenty to do in Granada. Overall, 4/5 for the experience and will be staying in the Libere again when next travelling to Spain.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located just behind Plaza Neuva, so great for the hop on, hop off bus tour, taxis and the back alleys with bars, restaurants and shops.
The room was clean, a good sized double bedroom with a bathroom.
It was easy to find. There is a proper reception with a human being on duty.
Free coffee from a machine in the lobby, but very sweet.
We had a few blips; only 1 cup for 2 people with the kettle and a struggle to convince the receptionist two people needed 2 cups, no milk, just sachets of coffee and tea bags, no plug for the bath, an even bigger struggle, but I succeeded, and you cannot park anywhere close by. We used an underground parking lot, €1.99 an hour.
