Pros: 1. This hotel is a hidden gem in Guanghan, just over ten minutes' drive from Sanxingdui. It's quiet and uncrowded, with spacious rooms. It also boasts the largest gym I've ever seen in a hotel, complete with a boxing octagon, a dedicated yoga studio, a spin bike room, and a heated indoor pool. Outside, there are tennis courts. My family, who loves fitness, absolutely adored it! 2. The breakfast spread is fantastic, and they even make fresh 'jianbing guozi' (savory crepes), which my child especially loved. The 'jinsi mian' (golden thread noodles) made by the auntie were also delicious. The multigrain drink, dispensed from a machine, tasted very authentic and wasn't too sweet. 3. The room came with an air purifier, so the air felt quite fresh when it was on. Cons: 1. Upon entering the room, there was a noticeable strange smell, and it felt quite stuffy. The windows were tightly shut. Perhaps they could open them periodically for ventilation, especially since it's a new hotel. 2. Although the hotel parking lot is large, it lacks EV charging stations. While there are ground-level charging stations nearby, it would be much more convenient and cooler to charge underground. 3. The toiletries were produced in 2024. Even though their shelf life is three years, it feels a bit like cost-cutting. Products made in 2025 would feel a bit better. 4. The ceiling above the hotel elevator entrance in the underground parking lot was leaking, with a cracked trash can placed underneath to catch the water, which was an eyesore.

I had a wonderful time at the Livia Hotel. The design was exquisite and tasteful, with attention to detail throughout. The bedding and toiletries were of excellent quality, providing maximum comfort. Zhu Zhu at the front desk was very welcoming and provided just the right amount of service without being intrusive. Located in a quiet area with convenient access to transportation, it's an excellent choice for local accommodation.

I booked this new homestay at hand, but there was no decoration at all. Our room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the facilities were complete, even including fresh fruit. They offer water activities like deep water bouldering and paddleboarding, and the 5-meter pool is great for diving. Overall, the stay was excellent. It’s a wonderful place to relax, escape the summer heat, and have fun. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance!
