Deyang Hotels with Gym

Stayed as a couple late September. Good location near the drum tower. Climb the stairs for a good workout; you can climb right to the top of the drum tower for a great view. Bus #12 stops right outside the hotel, first stop after turning right from the main street. The street it's on is reasonably busy, but quitens down at night. Check in was straight forward, including the travel form of where you came from, going to next and what you are doing in Deyang. Hotel kept fairly clean, considering it's an older hotel where not everything is pristine. Room contains slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste, shower cap, etc. Not much in the way of amenities; a foyer, a lift, a room. A Chinese breakfast is included in the price, and it seems a lunch and a dinner. I had the basic breakfast. I advise you to check the rooms first; the ones near the lift are a bit noisy, but some rooms absolutely reek of cigarettes and other odours. All in all, a good value hotel; we would stay again

The room was clean and tidy, the service was warm and welcoming, and it's close to the high-speed rail station. They even gave us Sanxingdui-shaped cookies, and there were self-service snacks available in the evening. It was super convenient to order some barbecue at night – highly recommended!

From Jiuzhaigou to Chengdu by car, I chose to stay in Guanghan for one night to see Samsung. This hotel has new facilities and large rooms. There is an indoor swimming pool at this price. Unfortunately, I didn't bring a swimsuit to experience it. The breakfast room is very large, there are many varieties of Chinese and Western breakfast, as well as special golden noodles and fresh pancake fruit. The only thing I want to complain about is the toilet in this bathroom. The seat shape is a bit non-standard. The disposable toilet pad is not suitable, and the contact area is large when used, and the experience is not good.

The location was in a small village outside of Mianzhu or Deyang. It was a beautiful place surrounded by farmland to the front and bamboo-covered mountains to the back. The staff were very helpful with our requests. We mainly communicated through translation app, as they did not speak English. The hot springs were available to us every day. You could easily walk or also ask for a buggy ride up to it. Some of the large hot spring pools were closed, we believe due to it being winter time. But there were still more than 12 hot springs open. If you are a westerner travelling here, don’t expect a cozy residents bar. There is a bar area but not that equipped. We did not try the hotel restaurants. We walked 1km or 2km into the village and had many cheap restaurant options and the locals were very friendly and accommodating with our lack of Chinese. The room had a torch also available, which made it easy to walk along the road when it was dark.

It was almost eight o'clock in the evening when we drove from Guangyuan Jiange, and it was already completely dark. Fortunately, it is not far from the expressway exit. It seems to be surrounded by a commercial complex. There is a church next to it. There was a noodle shop far away, so I didn’t want to bother, so I just ordered takeout. The house is rectangular, not small in area, facing the street but not noisy, dry and wet are separated, and hot water is sufficient. , the hygiene is OK, the breakfast is quite satisfactory, and there is bottled water for self-service. The next day I drove to the Sanxingdui Ruins Museum, which was about a quarter of an hour away, and I was quite satisfied!
