This time I traveled to Jilin with my six-month-old baby, so I booked a family room. By pushing two beds together, I got a king-size bed! The best part is, regardless of the weather, they provide shuttle service to Little Rime Island. Given its remote location, having a dedicated shuttle not only solves transportation issues but also makes the early morning trip safe and stress-free! While the shuttle service to Little Rime Island is convenient, its remote location means higher transportation costs. I highly recommend visiting in January when the chances of seeing rime ice are highest. Otherwise, traveling all that way only to miss out on the spectacular rime ice could make the trip feel a bit bland. Choosing the right time is key to making it a worthwhile journey!
