The owner is very kind. It is rare in China for an owner to speak English, so communication was easy. The 3-story building has a tatami room on the first floor for the kids, a living room on the second floor, and a bedroom on the third floor, all neatly organized. There is a bathroom on each floor, so it is convenient for a large family. The complex has a townhouse feel, so it is good for taking a walk around the area. Thanks to you, I had a great vacation.

Focus on praising the front desk receptionist for greeting guests when they come and saying goodbye when they leave. They try their best to meet the guests' requirements. Kind and polite attitude! The restaurant provides personalized service. Breakfast is extended to 10 o'clock on Saturdays and Sundays. Usually it is 9:30, but we went to eat at 8:30. Many dishes were already bottomed out, but the restaurant continued to make more. Parking is easy around the hotel, which I like. In addition, the hotel also has a laundry room.

This hotel boasts an excellent location. You step right out to the back entrance of Fortune Plaza (a shopping mall), and across the street, you'll find popular spots like Cha Bai Dao and Mixue Ice Cream & Tea, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The environment is clean and very comfortable, and the hotel has a modern feel to its decor. The service is also exceptionally attentive and thoughtful. Plus, the price is very budget-friendly. I highly recommend staying here!

We booked this hotel in Jilin City for my daughter's marathon. Our room had cooking facilities, a fridge, and a washing machine. We arrived past 11 PM, and the front desk staff were incredibly patient and welcoming. The next day, while my daughter ran her marathon, we visited Mount Daqing, which was a delightful surprise. The hotel was affordable, the service was excellent, and they even provided a shuttle for the marathon. It was also conveniently located for sightseeing and had plenty of dining options nearby. Highly recommend!

The service staff were amazing! We could easily ask them for help and suggestions. The curtains are automatic too, and would close when we’re leaving the room. Hotel breakfast was not bad. Location is great, just opposite the temple and walkable to good food area! Laundry room was open from 10am to 10pm. Space area was good, the sink separate from the toilet and bath. Snacks also available at the front desk, and if you needed more things like combs you can ask them or just take from the box at the counter below. Robot delivery for water too. The aircon doesn’t seem to work open the window and there is a natural freezer (our drinks froze)

This new hotel is incredibly close to the train station and truly has a great design aesthetic. The first floor houses a coffee shop/Western restaurant, and the second floor is for hotel accommodations. The coffee tastes quite good, and the air is filled with a pleasant fragrance mixed with coffee aromas, which really brightens your mood. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it covers all the bases, and the service is excellent – they're always happy to help. I especially want to highlight something: I'm not sure if it was the shampoo, conditioner, or hairdryer, but after washing my hair, it smelled wonderful and felt incredibly fluffy. In the northeast, my hair usually gets flattened from wearing thick hats every day, so I was really pleased with how my hair looked after this wash!

SONG JIANG BONANZA WINNING HOTEL — From Smoke Signals to Sacred Silence Arrival & First Sniff This old dog finally flopped down in Jilin City, relieved to rest my paws at the grandly named Song Jiang Bonanza Winning Hotel. “Winning,” I thought—until my non-smoking room greeted me with a stale tobacco haze. One whiff and I nearly cancelled the stay on the spot. Room Rescue Cue Mr Hong Dejian—calm, English-speaking, and clutching the keys to redemption. He patiently showed me alternative rooms until we found one that didn’t smell like a poker night. Had I left, I would’ve missed what came next. Comfort Food = Home Dinner delivered a miracle: stewed chicken with potatoes and mushrooms. One bite and—boom—mummy’s cooking. After days on the road, I finally found food in China that tasted like home. Tail wagging resumed. Care Beyond the Call Mr Hong returned with a portable heater, pointed out city landmarks, and even taught me how to take a non-reflective photo (yes, this dog learns fast). His easy friendliness softened the edges of dirty window panes and mostly Mandarin-only staff. I even showed him the ink-black towel after wiping the window—evidence, not barking. Menu Meltdown & A Win At the restaurant, I was handed a Chinese-only menu after saying I don’t speak Mandarin. I hit the roof. To their credit, reception listened: I received a call from the lady boss, and the issue was acknowledged. Then a hero appeared—the restaurant lady, who patiently translated dish names so I could choose lunch and dinner without guesswork. Gold bone earned. City Interlude: Jilin Catholic Church Between meals and meetings, I visited Jilin Catholic Church (吉林耶稣圣心堂)—a quiet pause from hotel hiccups. The church offered a moment of stillness, a reminder that even on a bumpy stay, the city holds pockets of grace. Logistics That Worked Back at the desk, the reception lady manager efficiently arranged my transport to Wusong Island—quick, competent, and reassuring. Breakfast & The Fine Print Breakfast surprised me in the best way: healthy, balanced, a thoughtful mix of local and Western dishes. One final bone to chew—early booking didn’t pay off as prices dropped later. A truly Winning Hotel would honour the lower rate at check-in. Verdict Despite communication bumps, this is a solid winter hideout: good Songhua River views, comforting food, and fast service when it counts. This hotel is excellent! We're foreigners, from Russia, and it was our first time visiting Songhua Lake. The New Story Suite Hotel made us feel right at home. All the staff were incredibly kind. There are so many fun spots in this hotel! Games, karaoke, and a restaurant are all on the -1 floor. I have three kids, so there were plenty of things for them to do. It was super convenient to bring the children here. My favorite part was the massage. I especially loved Mr. He (He Ruiyou). His hands are truly amazing! We'll definitely stay here again next time! (Original Russian review also provided): We stayed at this hotel during the New Year holidays with our large family (5 people: 2 adults and three children). We rented a large room, which was cozy and clean. We all felt comfortable in this spacious room, and there were enough beds for everyone. We loved everything about this hotel: the friendly staff, and the cleanliness was top-notch – we walked barefoot in the room. You can request room cleaning as needed. Downstairs, there's a hot water pool. The water is changed every three days. But what I liked most was the Tesla shuttle service to the mountain. And the most wonderful thing about this excellent hotel is the masseur He Ruiyou (that's his name in Chinese). After a day on the slopes, a massage from Mr. He is exactly what you need. He is the best masseur I've ever encountered.

An absolutely delightful stay! I was genuinely surprised upon checking in. The room environment was fantastic, with plenty of natural light and cozy decor. The common areas were also tidy and elegant, completely free of any clutter. What impressed me most were the cleanliness details: the bedding was spotless and odorless, and the bathroom was dry and immaculate, with even the corners sparkling clean, making me feel incredibly at ease. The service was impeccable! The staff were enthusiastic yet discreet. Check-in was efficient and quick, and any requests were promptly addressed. They were also patient in answering questions, making the entire experience superb. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit!

My stay at Zhan Yun Hotel far exceeded my expectations, it definitely deserves a full five-star review. The front desk staff, Zhang Chi and Liu Chang, were incredibly polite and processed my check-in quickly. They proactively offered information about local attractions and breakfast times. The room was spotless, with no stains in corners or the bathroom. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the room had excellent soundproofing – I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway. Any requests I made online were promptly addressed, and the delivery robot was very efficient. Plus, the mini-bar drinks were complimentary. The overall service was attentive and thoughtful, without being intrusive, balancing privacy with personalized care. This will be my top choice for future trips and I'll definitely book here again.
