Guest UserConveniently located for my Nanchang trip, the room was quiet and clean, and the Wi-Fi was stable. It was perfect for both relaxing and taking photos. The front desk was efficient and provided excellent service, and the environment was clean and refreshing – ideal for a tourist. It's very close to the Ferris wheel, and my stay was fantastic. The location is convenient for visiting various attractions, and the night view from the river-view room was especially romantic. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time. The breakfast was also very rich and delicious. I'll be back!

RollingstoneHampton by Hilton Nanchang Stay Review
Overview:
I recently stayed at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang and found it to be a pleasant and comfortable experience, offering great value for both business and leisure travelers. Located conveniently in the Honggutan District, the hotel is well-positioned for access to local attractions, shopping centers, and the business hub of the city.
The Good:
1. Comfortable Rooms:
The rooms were modern, clean, and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room featured an ergonomic work desk, which was great for getting some work done. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like USB ports and plenty of outlets.
2. Facilities & Amenities:
The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center, which I made use of during my stay. It’s not a full gym, but it has enough equipment for a quick workout. The business center and meeting rooms also looked professional and seemed perfect for business guests. Complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout my stay.
3. Breakfast:
The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes. From fresh fruit and pastries to local delicacies like dumplings, there was something for every taste. The breakfast area was clean, and the staff was attentive to refilling items and clearing tables.
4. Service:
The staff at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang were friendly and helpful. Though not everyone was fluent in English, they made a genuine effort to assist with all requests. I felt welcomed throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was a breeze.
5. Location:
The hotel’s location in Honggutan District made it convenient for accessing both the business district and local attractions like Tengwang Pavilion and Nanchang’s Star of Ferris Wheel. Taxis and public transportation were easy to access from the hotel, making it convenient to explore the city.
The Drawbacks:
1. Room Size:
While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they weren’t particularly spacious, especially if you’re staying for a longer period or with family. It was fine for a solo traveler or a couple, but families might feel a bit cramped.
2. Limited Dining Options:
While the breakfast was great, the hotel’s on-site dining options beyond breakfast were somewhat limited. There is a small restaurant, but for more varied meal options, you’ll need to explore nearby restaurants or order delivery.
3. Noise:
Depending on your room’s location, you might hear some street noise, especially during busy times. It wasn’t overwhelming but could be noticeable for light sleepers.

As a 'five-star standard' hotel, the Radisson Blu Hotel Nanchang Xinjian (Nanchang Changbei Airport Branch) was a huge disappointment. While the hardware might barely meet the mark, the complete collapse of service details, management, and dining quality absolutely does not live up to its high-end positioning. It’s arguably the worst 'five-star standard' hotel I've ever stayed at.
I. Indifferent Service, Utterly Confused Communication
Broken promises on reservations: I confirmed a late check-out request with customer service before booking and noted it in the order. However, upon check-in, the front desk was completely unaware of it, requiring repeated communication to finally resolve it. Compared to the attentive service at other three-star and four-star hotels in Nanchang, this so-called high-end hotel is severely lacking in basic service.
Shambolic airport drop-off service: The airport drop-off time was confirmed during check-in, but at the scheduled time, there was an internal communication breakdown among staff. Multiple front desk staff members huddled together, whispering, with no smiles throughout, and some even walked off in a huff. No one informed us of the next steps. After standing there for two minutes, a young man at the counter told us, 'You can wait for the driver at the entrance.' Even more absurdly, the driver, upon arrival, was also scowling the whole time, taking out internal frustrations on the guests. The experience was terrible.
II. Disorganized Management, Unacceptable Details
No-smoking policy ignored: The hotel clearly states it's non-smoking, yet the corridors reeked of smoke, and public areas were filled with smog. This is far from the clean environment expected of a five-star hotel.
Mixed clientele, disruptive noise: The hotel hosts a large number of tour groups, making the lobby often noisy and chaotic, severely affecting the stay experience and showing a lack of basic respect for individual guests.
Staff improperly using guest facilities: On multiple occasions, hotel staff were found using the guest-exclusive washing machines and dryers for their personal laundry in the laundry room, encroaching on guest resources. This highlights clear management loopholes.
III. Subpar Dining Quality, Five-Star Standard a Joke
As a five-star standard hotel, breakfast should be a crucial aspect for showcasing quality, but the actual experience was incredibly disappointing. The food options were extremely limited, with a scarcity of hot dishes, pastries, and beverages, making it difficult to satisfy different tastes. What’s worse, the food was bland, pastries were cold, and Western food options were limited. It completely failed to meet the dining standards of a high-end hotel. Compared to the rich, diverse, and delicious breakfasts at similarly priced hotels, the dining experience here was 'disastrous.'
Summary: Hardware acceptable, but completely inadequate otherwise
Undeniably, the hotel's room decor and bedding quality were decent, but the complete failure in service, management, and dining negated these hardware advantages. As a hotel aiming for five-star standards, failing even on basic service attitude, communication efficiency, hygiene management, and dining quality is truly undeserving of its high-end positioning. If there isn't a fundamental improvement in management, I will definitely not choose to stay here again, nor would I recommend it to travelers who value good service.

Choosing the Jiangjing Holiday Hotel on the west bank of Ganjiang River for our trip during the National Day holiday was definitely the right decision. We're a family of three, and the receptionist, a handsome boy, upgraded us to a river-view suite, which gave us a fantastic view of the stunning Tengwang Pavilion across the river. The hotel's parking was convenient, and it was super easy to take the metro to the attractions on the other side. Breakfast was plentiful, although the omelet made by the chef didn’t look too great. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

My wife and I chose the Nanchang Honggutan City Hotel for our stay, and the experience truly exceeded our expectations! The hotel just opened in 2024, so all the facilities are brand new. The lobby has a modern and grand design, creating a wonderful ambiance.
The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable and soft, making for an excellent night's sleep. What really surprised us were the thoughtful details: dual sinks, Appelles toiletries, a Laifen hairdryer, a feature-rich toilet, and complimentary mini-bar drinks – it all felt very high-quality. The front desk staff were warm and professional, even upgrading our room for free and including breakfast, which was a lovely touch.
The breakfast restaurant offered expansive views, and the food selection was plentiful and kept perfectly warm. The Nanchang specialties like the 'Waguantang' (earthen jar soup) and mixed noodles were authentic and left a lasting impression.
Overall, this hotel is impeccable in terms of both its facilities and service details. It offers exceptional value for money, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nanchang for tourism or business – it's definitely worth staying at!

Guest UserThe stay experience was particularly satisfactory. The location of the hotel is really great. It is within walking distance to Vientiane City. It is especially convenient for shopping and eating. It is also very close to the net red Ferris wheel. The hotel is next to the river, and it takes a walk along the river embankment in leisure. The river view is wide and the evening breeze is very pleasant.
In particular, I should praise the front desk staff Chen Wan, the whole service is warm and caring, the work is efficient and meticulous, and the questions are patiently answered, which makes people feel very comfortable. The internal environment of the hotel is clean and tidy, and the overall price is very high. Whether it is a trip or a leisure accommodation, it is very suitable. It saves a lot of trouble to travel and play. I will choose to stay here next time. I also recommend it to friends who plan to come to play.

TANG*1970We made a last-minute decision to switch hotels (the AC at our previous hotel wasn't working, and my little one was drenched in sweat). Unfortunately, the Shangri-La was fully booked, but we managed to find a family room at the Hilton, so we quickly made a reservation.
Soon after booking, Ms. Diana from the Sheraton called my husband to confirm the reservation and asked if we had any special requests. Honestly, that gesture warmed my heart.
The next day, after checking out, we headed straight to the Sheraton. The front desk staff saw Diana's note in the system and offered a complimentary breakfast for my little one, which was very thoughtful! Ms. Diana also came over to greet us; it felt like meeting a kind relative.
I really liked the decor style of this Sheraton. It's understated yet luxurious, calm yet grand, and you can tell the designer put a lot of thought into it. In the evening, the sunlight streaming into the elevator lobby created a romantic, painterly atmosphere.
Our family room had an excellent view, directly facing Tengwang Pavilion. We enjoyed watching the colors of the pavilion change against the night sky across the river, which was incredibly pleasant. The bathroom design in the room was also very clever; the shower and toilet each had their own enclosed space, providing privacy. The fixtures were all Duravit, a top-tier brand. Both the sink and shower had fast water flow and good pressure, and I was especially pleased that there was no water overflowing onto the floor after showering. Excellent! Oh, and the pure white duvet cover had elegant white patterns that were truly beautiful! The two down pillows had different heights, so there was one suitable for everyone.
The executive lounge at the hotel offered a good variety of food, and the taste was quite good. Breakfast was only available on the first floor, as the lounge wasn't open. There was still a decent selection of breakfast items; the ceramic pot soup was delicious, and the mixed noodles were also good, though the coffee beans were a bit acidic.
Upon checkout, we ran into Ms. Diana again, and she asked about our stay. Honestly, we've stayed at quite a few high-star hotels, but this was the first time we encountered someone as dedicated and genuinely caring about guests as Diana. We must extend our sincere thanks to her 🌹.
Overall, the Sheraton Nanchang is definitely worth my time to write this recommendation!

The accommodation was good, clean and hygienic, and the breakfast was good. Xiaoye at the front desk called me in advance to communicate my accommodation needs. Thank her very much. She is a very nice lady. Because I made the reservation for my foreign friend, she actively helped to follow up. My friend and I are very satisfied with this stay.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a great location and the best thing is the staff is so nice... the girl at the reception when I first came (I can't remember her name)... they were all so friendly and welcoming. I felt like It's like being at home. They always smile and always ask me if I need anything. I originally planned to stay here for one night but due to their hospitality I extended my stay for another day. Even the people cleaning the room were very polite and Friendly... The room is large and air-conditioned. The location is also very good. There are tour routes in the lobby.
