Check-in was efficient and swift, and they thoughtfully provided me with a guide to local food recommendations. The service throughout was natural and not forced; not overly enthusiastic to the point of making you uncomfortable. It's very close to Wanshou Palace, so there's a fantastic array of snacks and local delicacies readily available. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Since it was raining the whole time, watching Tengwang Pavilion from my room with a view had a special charm, it was incredibly relaxing and stress-free. Definitely worth a stay.
