GGuest UserAfter a long journey, we finally arrived at Xishiju, a place not too far from Dongchu Island and Baihe Bay. After checking in, we went to Dongchu Island to see the sea. The drive took about ten minutes. There were not too many tourists at the beach, so one person could have a large pristine beach to himself. That day was the first time I saw the gentle pink sea.
The owners of Xishiju are a very enthusiastic and kind young couple. When we got back to the B&B, we had dinner that they had prepared for us. Afterwards, the guests gathered for a bonfire party with clear skies and bright stars overhead. Finally, I pet the cat and all my worries disappear.
The room my mother and I booked was very clean and comfortable, with modern and elegant decoration, reflecting the owner's attentiveness everywhere. I really like the strong water pressure of the shower head and took a comfortable bath. We all had a good sleep.
The next morning, the owner personally led the guests to visit the ancient seaweed house village, and his explanation was lively and interesting. What impressed me most was the Liucun Stone Tombs, which were built in the Yuan Dynasty. They are very cute in appearance, like mushrooms, lotus flowers about to bloom, and yurts, reminding people of the changing of seasons and the cycle of life.
After touring the village, my sister and I explored Xishiju further. There is a large lawn in front of the door, a cherry tree in bloom, and two yew trees. The lobby has a very spacious public lounge area, a bright and clean restaurant, a sofa game area, a library area, etc. Various handicrafts are placed in an orderly manner. The atmosphere is very comfortable and full of artistic flavor.
Before leaving, I climbed the tree house in the backyard, wrote myself a postcard and put a stamp on it.
Because we booked it at short notice, we only booked one night, which we all felt was too short and we didn’t want to leave more. I think I will remember the day and night I spent in Xishiju for a long time to come. Driving here is like coming from the city into the embrace of nature, and it also feels like going back in time to the peaceful, simple and joyful days of the past.

GGuest UserStayed for two nights, except for no business around, the others are very good, the boss helped us upgrade to a suite for free. Very stylish decoration, breakfast is also very rich, their own buns are delicious. The eldest sister of the hotel laughs at any time, making people feel happy. Be sure to eat in the city before going, there is no food around! ! !

GGuest UserI absolutely loved this Hai Gu Gu B&B! I'll definitely come back whenever I'm in Rongcheng. The housekeeper and his wife were so welcoming, thank you so much! They were incredibly helpful. The B&B is right by the sea, a fantastic location where you can watch the sunrise from your bed. The breakfast was delicious. It's a great place to relax for a few days, with plenty of food, drinks, and activities. You can go sea fishing, hiking, or just relax and soak up the sun. [Grinning face] It's also very convenient to get to Chengshantou and the zoo.

WWuji1988During this stay, the accommodation experience was generally good. The room was clean and comfortable, the big sisters in the room department were also very kind and thoughtful, and the hardware facilities and room service were worthy of recognition.
However, the experience of local friends dining in the main building was disappointing. As a star hotel, the professionalism of catering services really needs to be improved. From the management staff in suits to the front-line waiters, they have not demonstrated the professionalism and basic etiquette they deserve. Especially a female management staff wearing a suit and white skin, although not directly serving us, but the attitude is cold, the expression is proud, lacks basic politeness and interaction, which makes people feel uncomfortable. This service attitude is far from the standard that star hotels should have.
I hope the hotel can strengthen the training of catering teams, especially management personnel service awareness. This stay was generally satisfactory in terms of hardware and guest rooms, but the performance of catering services did lower the overall impression!

GGuest UserThis Royalton is such a hidden gem, it totally exceeded expectations. It is a ten-minute drive from the high-speed railway station. Free pick-up and drop-off service is provided. It is a five-minute walk from the Ocean Food Expo Center. It just opened in April. It occupies an entire building and has a dedicated parking lot. The decoration is in the French style which I like. The room is very spacious, soundproofed, has a smart toilet, and is clean and tidy everywhere. The corridors are also spacious. The hotel also has robots to facilitate receiving takeout. The breakfast has a rich variety. The most important thing is that the service is really good and considerate. The staff are very enthusiastic and respond to customer needs very quickly, making people feel very comfortable. This trip to Rongcheng added extra points.

GGuest UserOur three-day, two-night stay at 17 Flowers was fantastic, receiving rave reviews from the whole family. During our trip to Rongcheng, it rained every day, but staying in the seaweed-roofed courtyard was anything but boring. There were flowers, grass, and small animals (we saw little frogs and earthworms outside!). The kids explored the paths, while the parents leisurely brewed tea inside. The hidden gem of a restaurant in the guesthouse is also worth mentioning – surprisingly, it wasn't advertised at all! After eating there, we never wanted to use Dianping (a Chinese review platform) to find local food again, because the local specialties were right here at this guesthouse!! All the fresh ingredients were personally selected by the owner, and the kids ate with gusto. The owner even cooked the shrimp we caught while beachcombing for free! My husband said he'd definitely bring friends and family next time!

EeiouzhouIt was my first time to experience the whole house made of micro-cement. The clean feeling and the large glass made it look like the sea. It was so clean that I couldn't bear to dirty it. The decoration in the house was natural and simple, full of quiet style. The beautiful host was very capable, the breakfast was rich, the service was friendly, chatting and playing games, helping to borrow a car, and it felt like home. It was also very close to the shipwreck, which was very suitable for couples to watch the sea in a daze, girlfriends to check in and take photos, and make friends on vacation.
