The only thing to be aware of is that there are a lot of bugs and mosquitoes in the mountains. One spray of repellent isn't enough; you need to keep reapplying it. My family and I were outside taking photos for a bit, and every exposed area was bitten, and not just by mosquitoes. There were also these tiny flying insects that caused incredibly itchy bites. I ended up with over twenty huge welts on my hands, and my family members had more than fifty bites on their hands and legs – it was ridiculous! 😂
