"The room had two small sofas, and when I checked in, the rain had just cleared up. Sitting on the sofa soaking up the sun felt incredibly satisfying. It was quite chilly in the Lake District during my stay, so the heating in the room was a real lifesaver. Plus, the towel rack was perfect for drying clothes!"

GGuest UserThe room was very nice, with swan bath towels. The environment was nice, between two towns, with the bus station just outside. The shop was run by a couple, the breakfast was delicious and the quantity was large, so make reservations in advance. A good stay experience.
GGuest UserThe hotel, which I chose randomly, was a pleasant surprise beyond my expectations. It was truly ”small but exquisite.” Although I booked a basic room, it wasn't large, but it was very comfortable. The towel rack was heated, and there was air conditioning, which was another unexpected bonus.
GGuest UserYou can see the small courtyard of the lake, the service is warm and thoughtful, and the health is very good. You can have dinner and drink in the store. Very warm. It was rainy when we arrived, so we could hangout in the hotel and not afraid of wind and rain. You can see the lake and the snowy mountains on a sunny day. Breakfast is semi-buffet, you can order a fresh meal, I recommend french toast. We saw two rabbits running outside at breakfast.
RRANThe hotel was rebuilt by the owner's parents. It is very warm and the reconstruction is very reasonable. The room is too small and the family seems particularly crowded. The surrounding environment of the hotel is very good, but there are many check-in requirements, there is no elevator, and it takes a lot of effort to carry large luggage to the third floor.
GGuest UserHotel very nice grounds fabulous room very spacious in quiet part of hotel I took Ill during the night the hotel staff were amazing the next day I had to go to hospital in Lancaster to get checked over hotel staff showed paramedics to our room .on return from hospital hotel staff couldn't do enough for us I would highly recommend the hotel outstanding customer service.
GGuest UserThe hotel offers a Bentley transfer service for £15, but you need to book it 4 days in advance. The exterior surroundings are beautiful and private, located on a gated hillside. The room facilities are a bit old, but choosing a room with a hot tub is definitely the way to go. Breakfast is decent.
GGuest UserHotel was clean, plenty of parking, good breakfast
No information in rooms, was advised that they didn’t like clutter, so any questions we had we had to go to reception to ask. No wifi, channels on tv not tuned in, had to pay to use the spa facilities.
GGuest UserThis hotel is located on a small hill in the Lake Windermere area. The courtyard is charming, the rooms are large, and the facilities are excellent. The service is also very good, and the breakfast is delicious. I really liked this hotel; it's worth staying at, and the price is reasonable for a hotel.
PPriyanka BajirajThe property and the ambience is lovely. The view from the restaurant garden is very pleasant and beautiful. The room size, bathroom size and amenities were good. We faced 1 major problem to be precise which made us a bit sore.
Cleanliness - the room was clean except for the carpet. It didn’t feel like it was vacuumed. There was probably a pet staying in that room before us and there was a lot of hair on the carpet. I understand it is a pet friendly property and I have absolutely no problem with that. But cleaning the room properly before the next checkin is a basic expectation. We couldn’t step on the floor without our feet being covered with hair.
Apart from that, everything else was very good. Breakfast was also good and the customer service was very polite and hospitable as well.
