"The hotel is conveniently located 6-7 minutes from the station and lake area, making it easy to access boats and buses. The hotel's environment is pleasant, but honestly, the rooms are quite average. The carpet was a bit dirty, and there were multiple stains on the sofa. The bathroom only had a small bottle of shampoo, no shower gel, but there was a small bar of soap. However, the breakfast included with the room was surprisingly good. The à la carte main courses were very English and definitely worth praising. Just for the breakfast alone, I would recommend this hotel."

Guest UserBooked the love snug for my wife's 30th and honestly couldnt of been better so helpful an welcomed with a smile by who i think was the owner she was amazing. Nothing was to much trouble as a whole probably one of the best weekends away weve been on and mostly because of this hotel would recommend and will definitely be back again 100% big thank you for making our weekend to windamere so special.

The Lake District is home to many beautiful B&Bs, and ours is one of them. The room even comes with cotton swabs and pads, as well as a glass jewelry box. Breakfast, ordered a day in advance, is prepared by the owner himself and is both exquisite and hearty.
The only downside was that it was a bit hot during our two nights there, and there was no air conditioning. There might be a fan, but we couldn't find one...

We feel lucky we stayed at Ryebeck Hotel! We booked there to celebrate our daughter’s 18th birthdays ! The hotel offers stunning views of Lake Windermere and the surrounding countryside. The hotel offers a restaurant serving delicious local cuisine 7 days a week breakfast, lunch and dinner. A cosy lounge area with a fireplace, and a lovely garden where they can relax and unwind. On top of everything: the staff was amazing! There is a fantastic team who very willingly offered as a family environment! Friendly, smiling staff who truly upgraded all our plans for our daughter’s birthday celebrations offering to all of us a unique experience! Thank you Tommy and your great colleagues! We will definitely visit Ryebeck Hotel!

RANThe hotel was rebuilt by the owner's parents. It is very warm and the reconstruction is very reasonable. The room is too small and the family seems particularly crowded. The surrounding environment of the hotel is very good, but there are many check-in requirements, there is no elevator, and it takes a lot of effort to carry large luggage to the third floor.

potatoheadukMid-point between Windermere Station and Bowness Pier, which means it is convenient to access to both high street. On-site Car parking is free but quite narrow.
Lounge (common area) is Cosy, there is a piano for guest to play! Yet, the room is rather small, especially the toilet and the shower area.
Great (4) choice of breakfast, and delicious.
Guest can use a health club (gym) of a local area for free, but it is some 10 mins drive from the hotel according to the host.
It'd be much better if the room is air-conditioned.

Its in a lovely location and close to Ambleside and Windermere.
We had requested a quiet room but was put at the top of the stairs, so we could hear everyone coming and going. It was quite noisy till very late at night.
We had a bath which was great, but there was no shower gel.
It was a very warm hotel, if you love that, then great. I had to leave windows open all night as it was so warm and it was a cold night.
However all that being said, the room was great and had everything we needed. The food was really great, hats off to the chef 😁
The staff were all really lovely and friendly.
I would very much recommend a stay here.

The hotel is nestled in a green wooded area, boasting its own private garden and ample parking. Walking to Bowness Pier takes about 20 minutes, which turned out to be a blessing as we searched five or six car parks closer to the pier and couldn't find a single empty spot. Inside, the hotel is pleasantly decorated and features a bar and a restaurant, with good service overall. My only disappointment was the room I stayed in; there was no Wi-Fi signal, and the mobile network signal was extremely weak and patchy.

The location is great. Breakfast was good and delicious. Room is acceptable.
The downside is there are limited parking onsite. This caused quite a bit of angst every night for our 3 nights at the hotel.

Hotel was clean, plenty of parking, good breakfast
No information in rooms, was advised that they didn’t like clutter, so any questions we had we had to go to reception to ask. No wifi, channels on tv not tuned in, had to pay to use the spa facilities.

It’s a lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds.
The rooms were clean and spacious. The reception staff are so friendly and informative. We’d definitely book this hotel again.
