GGuest UserGorgeous hotel, a little bit out of town but walkable. People with walking problems maybe will have difficulties walking up the hill back to the hotel.
Snack bar reasonable and drinks fairly priced.
Luz is beautiful but tiny. It is advisable to book restaurants in advance.
Also use cash as a lot of places will not accept credit / debit card.

GGuest UserCharming Residence and Guest House Dom Manuel is a pretty property. There are no lifts, so you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs. The rooms are very comfortable and the amenities are complete. Just opposite the hotel is a self-service laundromat. And just 2-3 mins up the road, is a Chinese restaurant that serves delicious food. The walk into the old city takes about 10-15 mins. Car parking off the street is limited but after work hours, there were free car park spaces further down the road.

GGuest UserVery beautiful resort, right by the Atlantic Ocean with direct access to coastal boardwalk. Amazing and very relaxing.
One bedroom apartment was very spacious and well equipped. There were total of 3 pools including spa pool. Breakfast was a good spread although same things were served 2 days in a row during my stay.
The only slighr downside is there was construction going on next door during my stay. Not the most pleasant and can be slightly noisy.

CONS: : As to the total design of room I was a bit disappointed. The pictures looked nicer than in reality. I had Deluxe Room. The terrace is situated so inconvenient—＞ it follows another on in front. So no privacy at all. The distance b/w 2 terraces less than a meter.
Pool is super small. It is situated in the area of bar and breakfast zone. I think it is uncomfortable to use it. For maximum 2 people.
Breakfast is not cost its money. Everyday the same
Tiny reception.
I wouldn’t recommend the hotel—＞ price vs value.

HHoon HoonA lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful team of staff. Can’t recommend their names but everyone was attentive to our needs and requests.
The rooms are in three or four, detached houses located next to each other, giving it a cosy, private resort-like place. There s small pools with lounges which is perfect for those who want to laze around.
Location is away from the centre, but it works if you like it this way. Bolt rides are cheap, so this wasn’t a problem to go and return from the centre.

GGuest UserBig hotel with SPA services. I stayed during winter time and only SPA facilities indoor were available, but in summer they also have an outdoor pool and I think also a partnership with a private beach. The room was nice and clean. The complex is big and there are different building all connected. The breakfast is huge and there a lot of local specialties and more international food. The hotel is right in the middle of Lagos and from there you can easily walk around. They also have a free outdoor parking or a paying indoor parking. The staff was courteous and gentle.

OOLauVery strange place: if you are travelling from Asia, I would highly recommend to look for something else. The rooms are ok - the property supposed to be newly renovated however frankly it didn’t seem so. In our room we had an issue with the shower tap, room phone, door locks etc. Housekeeping service is super strange - we had 4 people staying but room was only prepared for 2. Also, there are 0 amenities provided (toilet paper and smth they call “shampoo + body wash + conditioner +”). If you request for smth at front office to be delivered to your room, expect it to be done within hours at best. There were multiple occasions, when things were not delivered at all. And the highlight of this place is “ICE POOL”. It’s not just cold, it’s literally an ice. And people are still trying to swim in it so everyone around have coughs, sneezing etc.

GGuest UserOverall I would recommend this hotel! The location is perfect - it's not in town centre, but a 12 mins easy walk away - however it means you're just another 10-15 mins walk away in each direction to multiple beaches. It's closest to Praia Caldeira and Des Estudiantes (my absolute favourite!) and likewise, you can walk the other direction to Praia Dona Ana and Camilo, and the famous Ponta Da Piedade within 25 mins - no uphill! It's super close to two supermarkets (Spar and an Asian Mart) and enough restaurants nearby, or just next door to a fabulous chinese restaurant (yes, of all places!).
A few imperfections with the smell, possibly not the hotel's fault and average pillows, but we'll live for c. EUR130/night. Do try to secure a room on level 2 and above. I initially got a room with twin beds on level 0 and it was noisier and smellier.
