Amazing
JJinjidexiaoshoushouThe room was great. We arrived at Apollo Bay around 7am and the hostess greeted us warmly and showed us the buffet breakfast. The room was small but well-equipped.
NningningsingComfort and high-end everywhere, and intimate! The fruit cereal bread jam and so on are of high quality! The home-made chocolate brand is very delicious! The scenery facing the sea is very beautiful! No light pollution at night! The stars on the top are within reach!
RRoarRoarRoarA clean, comfortable, and ideally located classic motel, brimming with warmth and perfectly fulfilling all our expectations for convenient beachfront accommodation!
🌊 Unbeatable Location
· Right on the Coastline: The motel is separated from the beach by just a quiet street. You can enjoy endless ocean views directly from your room window or small balcony. Watching the sunrise in the morning and taking a stroll on the beach in the evening truly makes your dream of ”stepping out onto the sand” a reality.
· Convenient Transportation: Situated right off the main road, it's very easy to access if you're driving. The motel offers spacious, free parking, which is a great bonus for road trips or family vacations, saving both hassle and money. Although close to the road, traffic is sparse at night, ensuring a peaceful rest.
· Everyday Conveniences: Within a 5-10 minute walk, you'll find a gas station, a small supermarket, and several authentic family restaurants. This makes grabbing essentials and quick meals very convenient.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located on a mountain. It's more like a series of individual apartments than a hotel. There's a washing machine (top-loading), but no dryer. There are also basic kitchen utensils. However, I highly recommend eating at their restaurant; the ribeye steak is delicious. All balconies face the sea directly, and you can see the Milky Way after the moon sets. The Large and Small Magellanic Clouds are not to be missed. We also saw wild kangaroos, but we're not sure what subspecies they were. The bedding was clean and tidy. Be careful when showering; the water temperature might be affected by the neighbors using water, but turning it off and on again will restore it. Overall, it's a great place to stay for one night.
GGuest UserThe room was very good, but too quiet at night, probably because it was the off-season. I initially thought that we were the only family staying at the hotel. I was a little scared when I couldn't see anyone smoking at the door at night. I didn't know until the next day that there were other guests nearby. I saw wild kangaroos, but the entrance was hard to find. I initially thought I had taken the wrong road. It was really wild.
Iiamso9sweetThe place is relatively quiet. The room is very clean and tidy. Highly recommended for staying
The parking space is also very spacious. There are also warm lights in the bathroom. You won't feel cold when taking a shower in the winter. Highly recommended.
SSisixiongApollo Bay is the town where our family stayed the longest on this self-driving Great Ocean Road trip. Our family of five, two adults and three children, stayed in this cabin for three nights in a row. In addition to the beautiful scenery nearby, the most important thing is that it provides bicycles, boats, fishing rods, golf clubs, etc., and you can go to nearby courses. , play at the beach, we have fun every day! The owner Amanda and a friend of hers are taking care of these cabins. They are very nice people and can provide a lot of help to guests. For those of us living in domestic cities, burning wood in the fireplace to keep warm is a very interesting experience!
GGuest UserThe location is very good. It is opposite the sea and very close to the town where we eat. We arrived by car at 8 pm and left after sleeping for one night. The family room is enough for two large and two small children. Parking is free and there is no breakfast recommendation. If you continue to drive on your own the next day, you can go to Kafe Koala for breakfast and look for koalas. Today, you were lucky enough to see 4 koalas on the tree. Although the bathroom is too small and the facilities are outdated. There is shampoo and shower gel but no toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers. The duplex cabin has stairs. The children found it very good and happy. There is a pot of cold water in the refrigerator. It’s okay not to buy bottled water. Restaurants in town open late, and supermarkets open until after 9 o'clock.
XXIAOMEIThe hotel is on the edge of the Great Ocean Road. It used to be convenient. Next to it is a small town that can be supplemented with some daily necessities. The service attitude of the hotel was relatively poor. We booked the room. When we arrived at the hotel, it was more than 9:00 in the evening. The front desk of the hotel was closed. We called and asked for the procedure. The receptionist made a half-day complaint and said that we disturbed him to sleep. There was no quilt in the room, the weather was a little cold, and the air conditioning in the room was not strong. There was no way to be familiar with the surroundings. At this time, there was no way to change places and make a mess.
GGuest UserI used this hotel on the first day of the Great Ocean Road, when I moved from Melbourne to Apollo Bay.
I chose this hotel because it was cheaper than other accommodations.
The cleanliness of the room was commensurate with the price, and it felt like a student dormitory. (lol)
Towels, hair dryers, shampoo, and other amenities were all provided, so I personally didn't have any problems (no toothbrushes).
An international call is required to check in, so be careful about that. If you're looking to keep the price down, this is the place for you.
