"Very friendly reception, helpfully booked 4am taxi and explained everything re the hotel clearly on arrival. Hotel is ok for a short stay, conveniently located for Torremolinos railway station and the commercial centre - but a long hill walk down/up from the beaches. Nothing special, but nothing to really complain about for the price. Great breakfast restaurant and supermarket virtually next door"

Great
KK-KHWe had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tarik. Hotel’s design is charming, especially the corridor leading to the room that adds a touch of elegance and character to the overall atmosphere. We stayed in a patio room with a terrace which gives us adequate space for relaxing. Guests do not need to hire sun bathing chairs at the beach as the upper terrace of the swimming pool provides these facilities facing directly to the Mediterranean Ocean.
Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options to start the day. Beer served at the swimming pool is good but cocktails is not the recipe we get used to and could be better. Amenities can be improved by putting a small fridge in the room and providing foam bath in addition to soap.
Every member of the staff was friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and pleasant experience throughout our stay. Need to mention Barbara at the front desk who was incredibly helpful and went beyond to assist with anything we needed
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-run hotel in Torremolinos!
MMar GaviCheap Hotel (not bcuz of the price they charge). Paper thin walls, you can hear everything (I could hear someone’s snoring all night long). Beds are no comfortable at all, my back hurts (I’m a young person with no back problems). They don’t give you toothbrush, toothpaste, soap or shampoo (not even air plugs, with this walls should be mandatory). There’s NO ELEVATOR (you have to go up or down lots of stairs to go anywhere). The airport shuttle has a fixed itinerary (every 2 hours) it’s too much if you ask me, at least should be every hour. There’s no phone in the room to call reception, it was pouring at the time of check out and I got socked.
GGuest UserBack for a second visit at this hotel.
Location is spot on, very close to a fabulous selection of bars and restaurants, the hotel is very comfortable but I couldn’t understand why they provide a kettle but no tea bags, coffee, sugar or milk. This costs $10 extra however they were very stingy with the milk and the coffee and tea sachets looked ancient!
The pool is nice, but a little small
GGuest UserA lovely boutique hotel (adult only) at a great location. Can't ask for a better location.... very quiet as it's on a side road and very close to the train and bus station. Lovely swimming pool on top floor where excellent breakfast was served. Friendly and polite staff. Great value for money too. Has already recommended to friends coming to Málaga.
XX~tinaThe most bare hotel I have been to. Kettles need to be rented for a charge + deposit. There are no cups or cutlery in the room. Mini fridge is empty. I think I can understand why the hotel went for such measures given the crowd that is staying there - too many wild screaming Britons. Breakfast tables have nothing but a cloth. Lounge chairs are bare plastic making them very uncomfortable to use. Most of the chairs are in fact not available for use because guests dump their towels to reserve them and then not show up for hours. Staff allow this behaviour. The loud entertainment went on till 23:30 (accompanied by partying guests next door) so if you want to sleep any time before that - forget it, it's like trying to sleep inside a night club. Beach towels are not provided, bathroom towels cannot be taken out so if you didn't bring your own - tough. It is a beach property but the beach is private and hotel guests do not get any discounts. The shower was hot and had good pressure but there was hair left in the drain. Beds seemed good at first but I woke up with back pain. Went up to take a look at the roof terrace which looked lovely but we didn't stay for a drink. All in all the hotel was not for us and certainly would not recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing place.
GGuest UserThen they ask you for your credit card when you arrive from where you get charged the money from the deposit you have to be very careful that if you don't ask for it back they don't give you the money from the deposit. Then when I made the reservation on the App he wrote that breakfast costs €10 while in the hotel they ask you for €15! As for the beds, they don't have double beds but only two beds pushed together. The floors of the rooms are a bit ruined and obviously the whole hotel needs a lot of maintenance. The location is also very nice because I have a sea view room which in theory is 25 m², it has 25 m² because the corridor from the door to the room is long
GGuest UserHotel is in a great location close to the beach and restaurants. It is close to shops for essential items and provisions.
Breakfast buffet 0730-1030 is very well managed and staff are regularly topping up food and cleaning tables, busiest time is after 0900.
Rooms are a little tired but are air conditioned and have a fridge, room safe and their own balcony.
One frustration is was the lack of sockets and the TV signal / choice of channels was poor.
GGuest UserGreat hotel but wish we had a balcony.
Buffet breakfast / brunch excellent choice.
Clean and comfortable.
Prices in hotel bar reasonable.
Central to square, bus stop and train station. About a 15-20 min walk to beach.
GGhass NAmazing 7 nights at Sol Timor, we had a great time. Good location and quality services. The breakfasts were very rich tasty and generous especially the hot dishes. Non Stop activities for adults and children all day and at night, musical and magic shows. Many thanks to the management and the staff for their attention and work. Surely, I am going to book for the next summer with the entire family. Decent and calm spot.
HHamiltonNickThe hotel is very large and has a lot of guests they had entertainment on which was OK. The breakfast has a wide selection of food for all and was nice . Right on the beach front surrounded by lots of bars and resteraunts
