GGuest UserWe recently stayed here as a family of four and found the superior room much smaller than expected. It felt quite cramped for a family, and the bathroom was also very small.
The hotel is quite expensive for what it offers. The regular price is around £230 per night, which I don't think is good value. I booked it on a deal for £170, but even at that price, it still felt overpriced.
Another disappointment was the air conditioning. Even when set to the lowest temperature (16°C), the room never became properly cold. On top of that, we were constantly disturbed by heavy footsteps from the room above, waking us up every couple of hours around 12am, 2am, 4am, and 6am, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. No fridge at the same time which other hotels cheaper have.
We also had an issue with the toilet, which wouldn’t flush throughout our stay. This was a major inconvenience and should have been fixed promptly.
On the positive side, the front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The swimming pool was also clean and well maintained.
Overall, while the service and pool were good, the small room, tiny bathroom, ineffective air conditioning, noise issues, and high price made the stay disappointing.

GGuest UserThe hotel is undergoing refurbishment. We had a family room which was beautifully decorated, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. We used the pool which is quite dated and small for the size of hotel but a nice bonus. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. We will definitely will be back again.
The hotel has a lot of families staying there, would be nice to do a early evening disco/ something for the children to make use of the empty bar area

GGuest UserWe specifically booked this hotel for our anniversary and they decorated the bed with petals which was a nice touch. The hotel itself was very nice but the rooms were a bit outdated and the toilet was dirty. There were quite a few downsides which did ruin our short stay. We booked this hotel specifically for the spa facilities mainly the jacuzzi pool but this was out of order before we got there and we were not informed of this otherwise we would’ve booked elsewhere and it wasn’t fixed for our entire stay. Swimming pool was decent but not the cleanest as i felt dirt on pool floor.
On our last night we ran out of water and my wife is pregnant so i went to the night porter and asked for a bottle of water which they provide complimentary daily but he said he couldn't give me one and he could sell one from the bar, which i found ridiculous. The room didnt have a fridge so we couldnt buy any water and keep it cool.
Parking was £10 a day which I believe should be included in the stay.
Hotel staff were friendly other than that but I would probably look elsewhere next time. For the price we paid I did expect a lot more from the hotel.

PPete travelsI was here for the first time a month ago. I enjoyed my stay here so I came back a month later. I booked for a single room but when I arrived the hotel upgraded it to a double room. I was pleasantly surprised and grateful. I enjoyed using the shower. It was a good shower with the right amount of pressure. I used this hotel to visit the beach. It is a short walk to the beach and is in a good location. The staff are very nice.

KKako RiderI'm giving 5 stars based on the staff's behavior and the cleanliness of the room.
The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful. My room was clean, as was the bathroom, the bed, and the room in general.
I'm not the type of person who wastes time checking under the bed, behind the bedside table, or the TV.
The room was clean, period.
People often complain that the hotel is old, but you get what you pay for. It's not a 5-star hotel, otherwise I would pay much more for the room.
My only complaint is about the guests. Some people don't know how to behave in a hotel and still think they're at home.
The rooms aren't soundproof, and everyone notices this when they hear someone talking loudly in the next room.
That being said, people should be more respectful and not behave as if they were at home.
It's not the hotel's fault, but the lack of respect people have for each other. I had no problems in my room. Some guests shouted, spoke loudly, or banged on doors, which, thankfully, didn't happen every day. But, should any problem arise, my rating would be based on how the staff handled the issue, not on the problem itself, since problems happen in any hotel, even the most expensive ones.
Definitely I will go back and I bet they still remember me 😊

GGuest UserNice hotel clean & tidy, though tired in places. Breakfast was very good. Be very careful when choosing a room, I went for a room with a terrace little did I know It wasn't private, nor did it have a very good view whilst sat down, to ok when stood up. (see pictures,)

GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit old, domestic three-star level, but still clean and tidy. very quiet. It is about 100 to 200 meters away from the sea, which is very close, but it needs to go down a small slope of about 50 meters. The weather in July is still a bit cold, and it is impossible to go to the sea. The city is very small, turn right out of the hotel for about 1 kilometer and you will see the landmark of the Ferris wheel. It is not far to go to Old harry rocks and Durdle door within half an hour and 1 hour.

HHaohanxingchenzhifuI have lived a few times because of the location.
Stayed for 11 nights this time, the longest time
Room size is small
Breakfast is so-so
Catch up with the elevator maintenance for three months. It takes a lot of effort to carry the big suitcase upstairs.
The room is just above the restaurant, every night the music collapses to 9:30 after, affecting sleep...
Don't eat steak in the hotel, pizza is still ok

GGuest UserI had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The location is perfect — close to everything I needed, with easy access to public transport and local attractions. The room was spotless, and the entire hotel was very well maintained, which made my stay feel even more comfortable.
What really stood out was the staff — everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed.
Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

TTravel with TazWas a great stay, room was clean and comfy. The only issues I had is that there was no blind on the bathroom window and there was rooms across. There was no bin in the bathroom either. There was entertainment every night. The receptionist were friendly.
