Amazing
GGuest UserThat was the second time at Wari Warin, and this hotel is very nice and welcoming. Nevertheless, due to the lower cost paid in this period, the breakfast buffet was much less provisioned. Furthermore, one person in particular in the breakfast staff was very unpolite (taking plates away without asking if we had finished our meals, and bringing back the unconsumed part when we let her know that we had not finished our meal....) We also had an intoxication after the dinner (both my daughter and myself were sick all after the dinner, and had to remain in the room, losing 25% of our stay). In general, the staff is really nice, really helpful, and the place is very enjoyable.

CChristiaan the travellerVery luxurious resort with all excellent facilities. Location on the south is very nice, but don’t expect a lively outgoing atmosphere when you leave the resort. A scooter is really mandatory. Perfect stay to chill and enjoy the private beach. Pool is most of the team full with kids… just don’t go to the pool 😜

GGuest UserWe booked for 5 nights to enjoy a beach vacation as couple. Unfortunately during our stay they fixed the room and bathroom right below us which resulted in a really bad smell like sewage wandering through the pipes in our bathroom. We requested to switch rooms which the hotel kindly provided. The pool area is great. Breakfast is fine but nothing special. You can have Thai food for breakfast, fruits, breads and jams, eggs, cereals, juices. Location is great, there is a street food market right around the corner. You have to know they have high and low tide there every 6 hours so. When low tide you can take a walk to a close island but I would not recommend going to swim when high tide. There is partially Glas from broken bottles on the sand and the entrance to the piers for boats is close by. So it’s not a typical beach hotel with white long sand beaches and crystal blue water. We rented a scooter and went to other beaches for swimming.

HHappy _CherryOverall hotel is very lovely, super clean and peaceful. We booked room with a pool access and didn’t like it at all. Everything was so worn out, shiny tiles on the floor made it look dirty all the time. Acoustics was horrible. Above us was an Asian family…… felt like 10 people there, they were screaming, laughing, running in the room until the late night and you can hear absolutely all! And the worst thing was a lot of insects on our bed - dead and alive, flying, scrolling. So first night was a nightmare….. but we managed to change it for a bungalow and it was absolutely lovely. Nice design, silent, very clean, no insects inside. Food in the hotel restaurant is not the best. First evening we had there fried fish, they brought it fully covered in ketchup. One of the waitresses recognized Slav face in me and was constantly trying to speak in broken Russian with me and my husband, even after we said I am Ukrainian and my husband is Turkish, he doesn’t understand Russian and I don’t want to hear it. So we never ate there again. But breakfast was very nice, not very wide variety, but all super fresh. absolutely lovely egg station. Somehow they manage to cook each type of eggs in the very delicious way. Few words about beach and island itself. We traveled in the beginning of June and I was searching a lot of about life and activities on the island before coming….. couldn’t find much, so was relying on google maps showing a lot of bars and restaurants around. So, it is pretty frustrating, absolutely everything closed because it is a rain season. Beach looks very abandoned, only few hotels work, all other places look like people left in hurry and didn’t care about anything. In the storm beach is full of sharp glass and other trash and no one cleans it. You need to watch your step all the time. But I can imagine in the season and good weather it must be a very nice wide and still silent beach to walk. Nature is absolutely crazy, so many birds, lizards, snakes and other living things even on the territory of the hotel. Also they are taking care about two lovely cats, so we were constantly buying them some treats and wet food.

GGuest UserSuper beautiful, the view from the beach villa is a dream and is definitely worth the extra cost. Nice and shady on the terrace. In the mornings it is also shady on the private beach and the pool as well. A dream for families. Everything is spread out wonderfully so you never have the feeling that it is too crowded. Pool towels are available right by the pool. The staff were very nice and friendly and the food was delicious. For breakfast there was toast, bread, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, yoghurt, muesli, cornflakes, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, a small warm buffet with sausages, beans and a daily changing warm dish such as rice with vegetables, curry, pasta with vegetables. However, there was no classic cold cuts such as sausage or cheese, but ”only” jam, Nutella, artificial cheese cream. For us it was perfectly adequate. However, if you stay longer than a week it could get a bit boring.

AAnonymous UserThe house is clean, the bedding is comfortable, the boss is very attentive and considerate, and the recommendations are all good. The facilities need to be improved. There is no hair dryer or kettle. You have to ask for it before you can get it. It feels so strange. Is there a hair dryer for washing hair? Why bother? The deposit of 1,000 is also strange. I stayed in 6 hotels during the whole trip, and this is the only one that requires a deposit. It may be due to the peak season. I booked a room on Ctrip. 8 Chairman Mao tickets for one night are too expensive and do not match the facilities. I think 4 or 5 tickets are OK.

GGuest UserRoom is very comfortable, bed is good, linen is clean, a/c is new. Towels are old, but clean. Territory of hotel is wonderful, everything is so green and beautiful. Frogs sing at night. Very calm place if you want good sleep. I stayed at low season, so some things were abandoned, sunbeds are in bad condition, shower near swimming pool didn't work correctly. Staff is nice. My light in room didn't work, so staff solved this problem on this day. Breakfast is good, you have choice. Long dao beach is very flat, so its good place for families with children I think. Good thing that you can order tickets to ferry on reception, but you need to verify the price (sometimes is better to buy in pier, its just 1,5km from this place).

SST & PSFront desk not very welcoming when check in. Did the job checking in and explaining the deposit, room, breakfast restaurant, beach location. Issued us the room key and informed us the room direction, then we realised the check in is completed and we can be on the way to the room (1st time without hotel staff of this type/size of resort bringing us, not a big deal). Strangely one staff did ”pop up” after we left the reception building, offer to bring us to the room. We rejected since we figured we can manage. One good point is we get to check in earlier than the designated time. Room has unpleasant smell when first enter, but got use to it after a day (after house keeping next day). Room size is big, has a bath tub (did not use), a bed room and living room. No TV in bed room, TV in living room but limited TV program. Have two huge pool, one among the blocks, one nearer to the beach. Initial impression was not great, but after a few days, got used and get to enjoy the stay. Good location (good local restaurants, convenient store, laundry shop nearby), great pool, breakfast consider ok but could be better. Stayed during the end of the popular season, resort not crowded. Will I stay again? Yes, for the pool and during low season, less tourists. No, will try out other resorts along the same stretch of the beach.

GGuest UserThe room was clean, spacious, and had a nice view. But the balcony had a strong sewage smell, and the shower’s water heater worked only intermittently. The staff also seemed very inexperienced — often distracted, unable to answer simple questions, and even struggled to help with basic requests like finding the pool shower or arranging a taxi to the nearby Lotus.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a stunning location. The views are simply amazing. It is noticeable that the hotel has remnants of its former luxury, that it is ancient and has not been in operation for a long time. But the ratio of the price ($50 per night) with the service and the opening views of the island and the sea - only covers its shortcomings in the form of tired furniture. The choice of food is not very large, but we are not a picky customer. We were satisfied with everything, including breakfast included in the price and separate dishes that we ordered for lunch and dinner. The staff is very friendly and fulfilled every request. The downside is that there is no swimming beach, but after walking 1 kilometer along the beach, we realized that there are no ideal beaches on this side. And all the five hotels that were along the road are suffering just as much as we are, only the price is higher there. Another minus is that the room we chose near the pool is high up and it’s hard to climb up the steps into it, but this effort is rewarded with a mesmerizing view from the room or the pool. We spent most of the time at the pool, because... Swimming on the beach is not very comfortable. But I think that we are lucky, because... we were alone there. Completely alone, there were only 5 people in the hotel, together with us, and we saw other people a couple of times. It was gorgeous, chilling in the pool with the coolest views of other islands and watching the birds fly from tree to tree.
