Pimalai Resort & Spa

The room isn't huge, but it has a balcony, which was really nice and relaxing. Being on an island, it's all about chilling out. Since it was high season, the occupancy rate was quite high. There were very few Chinese guests, mostly Europeans and Americans. The dining options were good too; there were a few restaurants we could rotate between. The hotel offers free car and boat transfers, and for just the two of us, they provided a private car. Both the car and boat were in excellent condition. I've been to The Racha in Phuket before, and their boat was quite rundown, plus they charged a fee. However, The Racha is great for surfing. The sea here is very calm, perfect for watching the sunset and walking along the beach. If I had to choose, I'd definitely come back here. There's also another hotel on the island, run by a French couple, with a similar price point. Next time I'm in Krabi, I'd like to check that one out.

Phumala Lanta Seaview Resort

I had an amazing stay at the brand-new Phumala Lanta Seaview Resort! The bungalows are unique, built on stilts amidst lush greenery, with a magical view over the treetops and the coast. Staying here feels like being in a small fairytale, with comfortable beds, modern air conditioning, and a lovely terrace featuring both a bathtub and sun loungers. Between the bungalows, charming lighting in the trees creates a special and cozy atmosphere in the evenings. If any challenges arise, the staff and owner are incredibly attentive and resolve everything quickly and efficiently. The service is truly top-notch! The resort is just a 5-7 minute walk from a beautiful and peaceful beach, and shops and restaurants are also nearby. Across the road, Pad Thai Rock n Roll serves absolutely amazing food, and their staff is incredibly friendly – a must-visit during your stay. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it from four to nine nights. Note that the hotel shares its reception with Bakantiang Resort, so make sure to mention this to your taxi driver to find the correct location. Highly recommended!

Lanta Thip House By Swiss-Belhotel

The house is clean, the bedding is comfortable, the boss is very attentive and considerate, and the recommendations are all good. The facilities need to be improved. There is no hair dryer or kettle. You have to ask for it before you can get it. It feels so strange. Is there a hair dryer for washing hair? Why bother? The deposit of 1,000 is also strange. I stayed in 6 hotels during the whole trip, and this is the only one that requires a deposit. It may be due to the peak season. I booked a room on Ctrip. 8 Chairman Mao tickets for one night are too expensive and do not match the facilities. I think 4 or 5 tickets are OK.

I rarely give 10 out of 10 but moonlight deserved. Location is great.North is noisy and a little bit crowd, south is not convenient. Moonlight is in middle of lanta and just near the sea.It has its own beach and there is a wood cabin you can lay down to get massage. Food is good.My package includes breakfast. There are fresh fruits, bacon, yogurt .I stayed 2 days in moonlight ,the 2 days' breakfast is same but delicious . Room is clean and towards to ocean.I booked ocean view room and the view is stunned. Service is 11 out of 10! Staff is very polite and enthusiastic. You can fell everyone is so happy then you'll become happy too.Trust me, moonlight is perfect place to chose.

Chada Lanta Beach Resort

I can only assume the five stars are for the bathtub, but the water pressure is quite low. 1. Check-in requires a cash deposit or logging your credit card details. 2. The bedding was genuinely damp. I thought it might be typical for a seaside location, but other hotels, even with sea view rooms, weren't nearly as damp. 3. Upon check-in, the bedding looked really old and worn, like it was long overdue for an update. 4. Razors and similar amenities are not standard; you have to ask for them. This room type has no elevator, and while it's only up to the third floor, it's quite a trek. 5. The poolside area and happy hour by the sea are nice. Compared to the Double Lotus (four-star) hotels nearby, they are significantly better than this one.

SriLanta Resort and Spa (Recently Renovated)

Sri Lanta is a haven to escape the crowds, while having enough services around to keep you occupied in this corner of the beach. The rooms are classy and clean, save for a dirty kettle, with daily room service. There's direct access to the beach via a convenient tunnel, which opens up to their pool, restaurant, bar and beach chairs. The bar owner is very friendly and his prices are reasonable to keep you happy for your stay. Shout out to Lisa, the concierge that made our stay a bit more personal and lovely each day

We stayed here in what was the peak season…many resorts and hotels were sold out in Ko Lanta. The staff are all friendly and genuinely will help and be kind if you are respectful and kind too. The location is perfect. Right in front of the beach and close to cafes, restaurants and local eateries as well as 7/11. The hotel itself has so much potential but it is looking very tired and run down. We stayed in a room that should have had a pool view but all we saw was trees. The room did smell a bit musty at first but this soon disappeared with the smell of sunscreen, and personal fragrances. Previous reviews people wrote about the old, musty towels. This is true. They smell musty, old and are tired looking (bring your own if you can). The beach loungers in front of the pool were perfect each day but it’s a real hit and miss game of who can “bags” a lounger first. Many tourist staying at the hotel would place their towels on the loungers first thing in the morning and wouldn’t even be seen on the loungers until after lunch. In my opinion, the hotel staff need to change this and man it in a different way during peak season. Too many entitled people thinking they own the sun loungers because their shoes were placed next to them 🙄🙄 Overall, if you’re looking for somewhere to rest your head at night, with hot showers, friendly staff, okay breakfast options and mostly clean premises this resort is good. If your more of a person who prefers to spend time inside their resort and looks forward to all the extra amenities then I suggest you try somewhere else 😬

Chomview Lanta Water Park Resort

We traveled as a family with young children and stayed at Chomview Koh Lanta. The room was spacious and big enough to comfortably accommodate four people, which was very convenient for our family. However, there were several issues during our stay. The walkway to the room had no lighting at night, which felt unsafe, especially when traveling with children. We also experienced water shortages, and the room had an unpleasant smell coming from the toilet. The location is quite far from the main road, so transportation is necessary to get around. This may not be convenient for families without their own vehicle. On a positive note, the staff hospitality was good and they were friendly and helpful. Overall, the hotel has good room size and kind staff, but improvements are needed in maintenance, lighting, and water supply.

Best place we've been in Thailand. Everything perfect. Totally peaceful to wake up in front of the sea, to have a private beach just in front of your room, a swimming pool that face on the sea. Absolutely the best place. Everything clean, hot water in the room, air conditioner, etc etc. Above all, the staff. Kind, professional, super available to find the right solution for your need
