"Arrived on the 20th of May at 6 pm. Open sign flashing and lobby open. Hand written note on counter stating if no one present call number. Called the person who answered was extremely rude and informed me if no one was there they are closed. I booked with rewards on 5-3. I asked for refund and was told to take it up with my credit card. The investigator for more my card tried repeatedly to reach hotel unsuccessfully until I gave them the 214 Irving Texas number I called. The investigator reached them and they still refused to refund. Stay completely away from all HiWay Inns. HiWay robbery"

"Before I checked in, I asked the manager is the Wi-Fi strong enough to work with and he tells me yes when I get to the room check the Wi-Fi was OK and I checked in and realized the Wi-Fi is so slow it’s like there’s no Wi-Fi. Reflected to the manager, but there’s nothing he could do. He tried to do something but nothing worked. if you just staying overnight because you’re so tired and you gotta leave first thing in the morning it’s all right, but this is not really nice rest stop. I don’t think I will revisit this motel again. Sorry to say before I leave I told a female manager on duty that morning, they may want to improve their Wi-Fi for the customers. If will bring them more business, all gift back was a rough “OK”! I guess that’s how they run the business. Sad ."
