I made a good decision choosing this organisation for my first hostel experience. Great location and attentive service made my trip perfect. Such a nice price for the location. The furniture and facilities are modern and attractive, cleanness is well maintained. If you need some consumables, such as towels, tooth brushes etc., they’re offered in the vending machine, which is just convenient.

This is the worst branch of Zhexingsun I've ever stayed at. Surprisingly, when I checked the reviews, it was the only one with a rating below 4 stars. Looks like it's not just personal bias. [Location] Excellent, near the subway station, opposite Hopson One shopping mall. The external environment is good, but this branch has many problems. I don't know if it's due to the low quality of the guests or poor management, but there was hair everywhere in the room, and accumulated trash in corners. The bathroom was rarely cleaned and was often a mess. Another problem is the poor ventilation; the temperature difference between the room and the outside is 7 or 8 degrees Celsius. Even wearing a jacket, I was sweating profusely inside.

Great location, close to the subway which makes getting around a breeze. The elevator is convenient, and the amenities are excellent: water dispenser, fridge, microwave, and even laundry and drying facilities. A special shout-out to Lulu at the front desk – her service was thoughtful and warm. I'll definitely be back!

For the price point, I won’t complain about this stay at all. Upon first looking around, it was a very nice place. It looked like the set of a nickelodeon scene based in a youth lounge. The staff is bilingual and it was quiet in the rooms. There were a lot of people so it was hard for the staff to keep up with the mess be created by the customers. They were working hard around the clock and it never got clean enough. You can also order packages to this place and there are plenty amenities.

The rooms are clean and functional as well as the bathroom. Metro station is 5 min walk and there's a nice restaurant around the corner. A bit far from the city. Staff doesn't speak English

I had an early appointment near Anzhenmen, so I stayed here for a night at the last minute. When I checked in, the front desk attendant explained that due to the building's central air conditioning, the cooling might not be very strong and the room might feel a bit stuffy. She also mentioned I could check out within half an hour if I wasn't satisfied. I went in and felt it was okay; it might not be ideal for those who are particularly sensitive to heat. My roommates were very quiet, as was the hallway. The bathroom was spacious and very clean, and the room itself was immaculate. I slept really well that night. In the morning, I just left my room card at the front desk. I'll definitely stay here again if I need to!

The soundproofing in the room was excellent; I couldn't hear any noise despite being close to a bustling commercial area. The hot water supply was stable, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. For its location, the price was really good. This is definitely a top choice for women traveling to Beijing, whether for leisure or business.

The way to resolve this is to understand that even if one of us thinks there's a mistake, neither of us was truly wrong. That way, we can both feel we weren't wrong and did everything perfectly, even though we both made mistakes. Do you understand what I mean?

The most delightful discovery on my trip to Beijing was the Zhexingsun Youth Hostel Shichahai Branch! Its location is absolutely superb, tucked away in an old Beijing hutong, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. It's just a 5-minute walk to Shichahai subway station, and super close to Houhai, Gulou, and Nanluoguxiang. You won't have to go out of your way to visit attractions or grab a bite. The hostel itself is clean and tidy, with a simple yet cozy decor. The Japanese-style tatami common area is very comfortable, perfect for relaxing or even some light work. While the bunk bed space is compact, the bedding is clean and soft, and the 24-hour hot water and air conditioning are reliable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The public facilities are incredibly comprehensive; there are free washing machines, water dispensers, and hair dryers, so you don't need to pack extra, making your trip super hassle-free. The service is exceptionally thoughtful; the front desk staff are warm and efficient, responding quickly to any needs, and they even offer free luggage storage. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money, making it ideal whether you're traveling solo or with friends. To truly experience the authentic old Beijing hutong atmosphere, staying here is an absolute no-brainer. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Beijing!
